We are a 100% volunteer run cat rescue organization in Central New Jersey dedicated to finding stable, loving homes for cats and kittens and providing our community of pet lovers education, tools, and resources for proper cat care. Our cats available for adoption are placed with foster families (rather than a facility) and provided age appropriate vet care, nutrition, and love until they find their forever families. Foster families get to know the individual personalities of each cat in their care to help make the best possible match for adopters’ situation, needs, and desires.

We are a non-profit organization committed to rescuing animals in need, rehabilitating them and professionally training them to become Therapy dogs and then placing them in homes to give back to the community, We focus on the rescue, rehabilitation and training of special needs animals to work with special humans in need. All our animals are currently trained and rehabilitated at Unleashed Canine Training Academy, in Troy, Virginia.

A groupd of us in March got tired of the dismal state of our local shelter. We banded together to make change. Once we saw cross-section of the level of people in our group, we formed 501c3 and have had members placed on a city board as well. We do this for our love of the animals, and that no amimal should ever suffer, be adbused or discarded.

Our primary mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for homeless dogs; primarily dogs in shelters at-risk of euthanasia and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them. We believe in compassionate rescues where we know the dog is on borrowed time and likely to be overlooked or deemed less adoptable due to age, health, emotional state or breed. We ensure all animals we take into our rescue, regardless of individual needs, are cared for with love and compassion for the duration of their lives. Our secondary mission is to help pets stay in their homes by offering pet owners assistance, when funds allow, with medical care, food and other supplies.

Rescue animals

We are dedicated to dogs in this area only. We don't pull from out of state or adopt out of state. We have a preference for hospice, super seniors and medical cases but will take a dog if we have a foster available that matches the dog's needs.

Our president started as the Volunteer Rescue Coordinator at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter, Weatherford, Tx. We recently started Weatherford Wags, a 501c3 non profit rescue. We are a foster-home based rescue, focused on saving urgent dogs at local shelters. We also attempt to help strays and unwanted dogs in order to keep them out of shelters and to get them into loving homes. We do not have a facility. To be effective in saving a dog's life, we depend on the community to step up and offer their homes to temporarily foster a dog until it's adopted or goes on transport to be adopted elsewhere. So many dogs that are at risk at the shelters are great dogs, that just need a chance to prove it, and not be euthanized for space at the shelter. We find foster homes for the dogs, provide needed medical attention, help with food, and then market the dogs. We then screen and approve potential adopters, and provide help with integrating a new dog into their home. We do it for the love of dogs, knowing that just because a dog happens to be in the shelter, it is not a bad dog.

We have been saving cats lives from shelters and off the streets since 2012. We do it because we have the drive, strength, ability to do this.

I am a cat lover and have done significant efforts to improve the life of those cats that crossed my path. I have recently started a DBA to facilitate adoption process of my current foster cats. I have done TNR over an area of Spring Branch (zip code 77080) for about 8 years now. I funded myself or with help of local charities such (CAP, Best Friends etc.). It was sad to return the cats after TNR knowing that they may not have any meal, so I became colony manager (Feeding and TNR) of a colony of 45 stray cats over the same area for about 7 years. Some of the cats that I daily feed are young and friendly, so I enroll them for adoption with local rescue groups when they have capacity. With their help, I have been able to find homes for about 60 friendly cats and young kittens. I fostered them and in many cases covered the vetting to enroll them in adoption programs of HOPE rescue, Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue, Houston Cares Animal Rescue among others. I feel like I have learned about rescue, fostering and adoption process for the last 6 years and could continue serving the community independently. I learned about your Adoption Portal functionality by volunteering with HOPE rescue. I really like the fact that you could post pets for adoption on multiple sites, that is a fantastic marketing option. It is my dream being able post my current foster cats stories (see my instagram site "Adoptable_Cats_Houston for your reference) and find them forever homes. My name is Lynne Runge, I’m the founder/director at Saving Grace. Saving Grace is a (501c3) nonprofit foster-based animal rescue focusing on saving lives of animals in overcrowded kill shelters. The Furry Paws Foster Inn is a non-profit 100% volunteer based that is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of abandoned, homeless, and owner surrender cats, kittens and dogs. We also help our community by informing the benefits of TNR.

Created “For the love of Pugs”, the mission of our rescue is both simple and impactful. We pledge to: • Provide a safe alternative to shelters for pugs in need using loving foster homes • Provide medical care and help them on their journey to an adoptive, forever home • Educate current and prospective owners about the unique needs and health issues associated with the pug breed • Coordinate with other local and pug-specific rescues to facilitate transport, placement, and care for pugs in our service area

I (Toree) went to Cancun on a trip for fun. Got the idea (a calling) to help the dogs there. So I went back, found Karin who had been rescuing street dogs for years (her full-time job). We started a 501c3, are working to create a network of helpers. Right now, Karin and I fund everything but we are working on fundraising so that we can do more.

PNC Midwest Rescue is a small rescue group made up of volunteers, located throughout the Midwest area, dedicated to the Pekingese. Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, neglected and surrendered Pekingese. These dogs are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary including spaying/neutering, until a permanent home can be found. Through the commitment of our volunteers, PNC also focuses on education of the public regarding puppy mills and responsible dog ownership, such as spaying/neutering, training and humane care of Pekingese.

HART’s mission is to rescue homeless animals, saving them from euthanization, abandonment, and abuse with the goal of placing them in forever homes. Our rescue animals are housed in foster homes. We do not have a physical location. We can be reached easiest by email. HART is a 100% volunteer, non-profit 501c3 charity organization with no paid staff. All donations are tax deductible and will directly benefit the animals.

We do colony management of our unsheltered community cats. TNR, adopt the ones that’s able to be tamed. Help community members with food, basic veterinary to help keep pets in home and out of shelters or being dumped. We assist in spay/neuter to help decrease the over population of unwanted pets
