We intake all strays from animal control of both jurisdictions and surrenders when space allows. We focus on public education and animal care. Our services include return to owners, public microchipping, fostering, adoptions, spay/neutering and TNR management, pet food pantry access, volunteering, and public engagement and education.

We rescue, rehab, and re-home horses while providing horse therapy for individuals suffering from trauma. My name is Janey Loree Paschal and I am a volunteer helping with social media, website, donation applications, etc. And I believe in the mission of the ABM Angel Horse Foundation!

Who we are East Texas Animal Rescue was founded by Scott and Christina Russell. Scott is a life long animal lover and Navy veteran. Christina has worked in the veterinarian field for over 20 years. They have 4 dogs (1 which was rescued in Mt Enterprise and 2 cats). When they moved out to East Texas in early 2022, it became very apparent that there were a lot of stray animals as well as malnourished, neglected and abused animals in East Texas. After rescuing 1 dog, they seemed to find a never ending line of animals in need of help. All the shelters in Rusk county are always full and the surrounding counties won’t take in animals outside of their county. They knew something needed to be done. So, they started East Texas Animal Rescue in hopes to save as many animals as possible.

Cumberland County Animal Shelter houses approximately 2000 animals every year. They have a small staff of a shelter Director and two full-time employees with the rest of the staff made up of part-timers who come and go. As a private, retired citizen, The shelter director has authorized me to go into the shelter five days a week to photograph animals to post at online adoption sites. I add, edit and then delete animals when they have been adopted or are no longer available. Because they do not have a large enough staff to handle this type of work, I am able to do it for the shelter, mostly from my home, as a free service.

My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

ALIVE Rescue Memphis is a foster-based rescue program for homeless animals in the Memphis area. We aim to save as many lives as possible from kill shelters and the streets by ultimately placing them in their best-matched foster homes. We then match people and animals to their forever families and homes.

Philly Jenkins Rescue is a 501(c)(3) San Francisco-based Cat Rescue founded in 2024. It is dedicated to rescuing cats in need of high-risk medical aid and helping cats facing euthanasia find loving homes

Established in 2007, Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We’re an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to allowing cats to live safe, healthy and happy lives. We do not accept euthanasia as a solution to treatable medical conditions or as a means of population control for animals. Our goal is to see that no cat goes without food, shelter and medical care; that every cat is spayed or neutered and that as many cats as possible find loving forever homes – no matter how long it takes.
