CARE Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, animal rescue that saves stray and abandoned dogs and cats from euthanasia or further abuse and neglect. With no boarding facility or shelter of our own, CARE pets live in local homes where they receive medical care and rehabilitation to get them ready for their forever homes. CARE Pet Rescue seeks not only to place dogs into loving homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to about one hundred animals every year, provide them with loving care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened, forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. No board members or employees at CARE Pet Rescue are paid a salary. Their time with the rescue, whether it be in an administrative role or working directly with the animals, is volunteer only. With shelters at their maximum capacity a lot of times, rescues are necessary in all communities. Rescuing and being able to home deserving pets into foster homes, and not in noisy kennels, feels really good. All pets deserve what we can give our rescue pets.

we are a non profit all volunteer organization of basset hound owners dedicated to rescuing or taking in stray and unwanted basset hounds throughout Ohio.Our love and experience with the breed will allow us to intake , spay/neuter . bring current on shots needed and any surgeries , also rehab / socialize the dog through foster homes to make them adoptable.

The Humane Society of Noble County is dedicated to providing assistance to homeless and abandoned pets. My name is Jennifer, I am the executive director, and I do a lot of everything! I have a small staff caring for an average of 200 animals on any given day. All of us are very passionate about what we do. We believe we offer a wonderful organization to our community. We are fierce advocates for homeless pets, for spaying and neutering and for helping both pets and the people that own them.

We are an all volunteer organization that started in 2001. We are focused on finding homes for the dogs who are often overlooked in the shelters. All of our dogs live with fosters prior to adopting, so we know how our dogs interact in the home, with pets and with people prior to moving to their new forever home.

The Greenville Animal Control Shelter is responsible for assuring that pets and people live together in safety and harmony, ensuring that all pets receive proper care, responding to complaints, and enforcing ordinances within the city limits. Our shelter handles rabies control, capture of sick or injured animals, confinement of lost pets, quarantines, dog bites, and adoptions.

One Step Closer Animal Rescue (O.S.C.A.R.) in Sparta, New Jersey, is a non-profit rescue organization that saves dogs and cats from desperate situations. We rescue pets from overcrowded shelters where animals are euthanized due to lack of space. O.S.C.A.R. volunteers care for these pets in our network of foster homes where they receive the loving care they deserve. We ensure that all pets in our care receive the proper veterinary attention and vaccinations, and that the animals are spayed/neutered. All of O.S.C.A.R.'s dogs and cats are great animals that deserve loving homes.

We are a group of volunteers who are passionate about helping animals. The deep south in particular seems to have a terrible over population problem. We have helped our local kill shelter be no kill for the past 7 months. That is why we do this.

H. F. Help, Inc. is a 502(c)(3) non profit animal rescue that was founded in the early 1980's by Mary and Wes Collins. We are located in Dorchester County, and serve the lowcountry area, and also assist with animals from Colleton and Orangeburg Counties.

I am the director and we bring dogs in that are found on the streets, owner surrenders, from shelters, we vet them and make sure they are fully vetted. We adopt to home owners for pit bulls only and if we have other dogs not pit bull we adopt them to those who are renters. The goal of home owners is less returns. We are huge on safety and do education . We want to part of the solution and not the problem and cut down on dogs going to the shelters. We feel they best in the home environment

Grand Strand Golden Retriever Rescue (GSGRR) is a group of volunteers located in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Golden Retrievers into the best homes possible to ensure their loving care for as long as they live. Our volunteers have been rescuing Goldens for more than 20 years and are truly in love with this wonderfully goofy breed! As soon as a Golden comes into our program, it is taken to the vet for a physical examination and all of its medical needs are met. The Golden is then placed in a warm and loving foster home, where it will remain until a permanent home is found. During this time the foster family is able to assess the Golden's personality, which is necessary in determining the perfect "furever" match for both dog and family. Before adoption, the Golden will be vaccinated, altered, tested and treated for heartworms and microchipped. Anyone wishing to adopt one of our Goldens must complete an application and home visit. We will verify the care of your current or previous pets with your veterinarian, and ensure that any pets in your home have been altered. Our volunteers are committed to our Goldens and to the humane treatment of all animals. We work to promote responsible pet ownership within the community through the advocacy of spay/neuter education.
