Kane County Animal Control

4060 Keslinger Rd
Illinois
60134
animalcontrol@countyofkane.org(630) 232-3555
Kane County Animal Control oversees rabies registration, protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education and animal law enforcement. KCAC is responsible for the enforcement of the County Animal Control Ordinance. Together with local law enforcement and city animal controls, we ensure the humane treatment of animals in Kane County. Depending on where you live in Kane County, you may be served by your local animal control facility, your police department, a state-level agency, or KCAC. For the quickest handling of your concern, first determine whether you live in an incorporated or unincorporated area of the county to make sure you contact the appropriate agency.

Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center

5439 West Lake Road
Pennsylvania
16506
info@orphanangels.org(814) 746-0511
At Orphan Angels, our foster and adoption programs aim to place homeless cats, including those with special needs, FIV, and FeLV, in loving forever homes. We believe that every cat is adoptable; some just require a little more time, patience, and understanding than others to find the perfect match. We are a free-roaming sanctuary. When you enter our doors the majority of the 100+ cats that live on the premises are free to roam about the space. The only cats that you will find in cages currently are due to medical or dietary needs – but we are working hard to remedy this issue with our new renovation project. We are a no-kill shelter. We never euthanize based on finances or space within the shelter. We serve as the voice for the voiceless

Pawsitive Difference

101 South Rainbow Blvd #20
Nevada
89145
info@pawsitivedifference.org
The primary goal of PAWsitive Difference is to rescue, foster, and adopt out dogs from families that are unable to continue to care for them. We also rescue many dogs that have been abandoned or are listed on the kill list of our local animal foundation and help provide these dogs homes with new, loving families. PAWsitive Difference is located in Las Vegas, NV. Additionally, we help support Veterans and senior citizens in keeping their dogs by providing assistance with the costs of feeding, grooming, medication/shots and vet care. Many of the services we provide are very expensive and our dogs are supported entirely through monetary donations made by people like you. Our Founders Annette Thomas (founder) is a hair stylist and an animal lover. She has worked tirelessly on her own for more than 22 years re-homing and rehabilitating over 200 dogs. She has helped rescue, save, foster, adopt, rehab, match and/or provide hospice for these dogs from her strong passion and love for dogs and animals. Margaret Deibert (co-founder) is an accountant and she recommended that Annette become a 501(c)(3) and she did the required paperwork and in July of 2015, PAWsitive Difference Pet Rescue was born.

NYC Teens for Animals Inc

New York
11204
nycteensforanimals@gmail.com
I started NYC Teens for Animals when I was 12 years old as a way to inspire people to volunteer for rescues. As a volunteer myself, I wanted to post the animals I worked with through photography and videos to help them find homes and to raise money for their veterinary care. NYC Teens for Animals Inc is now a small, foster-based non-profit organization. My goals remain the same - to get homeless animals adopted into loving families. We raise money for vet care, which is our first priority. We also encourage people to learn about TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) to ensure that community cats lead healthier lives and to curb overpopulation.
