Friends Of Contra Costa Animal Shelters (FOCCAS). Our mission is to enhance and establish services that benefit the lives of shelter animals throughout Contra Costa Find great foster and adopted homes for shelter animals. Offer community low-cost spay/neuter programs to reduce over-population. Commit to reducing the euthanasia of healthy animals in local shelters. Coordinate community training and education services to enable companion animals to stay in their homes. Advance responsible pet ownership within the community. Support local shelters to identify and implement improvements in services provided for their animals.

Fierce Love Rescue is excited to bring a new twist to animal rescue in northern virginia. Not only do we rescue we educate. FLR is excited to help exotic pets, not just cats and dogs, find their forever homes. We offer training and education on some amazing breeds and species. Our selection of amazing animal ambassadors are available for public education sessions for all ages. FLR is fiercely devoted to adopting and rescuing all species of animals, as well as promoting animal welfare, advocacy, conservation, and education. We rescue all animals with fierce love and dedication.

I retired approx 2 years ago from LAPD with 28 years oif service. I fostered for 5 years prior to retirement for another rescue and found it very rewarding to help dogs to have a 2nd chance to live happily ever after. I take the dogs that deserve me to help then have that chance. I deal in quality rather than quantity and invest a lot more time and $$ to take these dogs from abuse and near death to happy healthy family members for another family that will love them until their time comes to go home for good,

Hearts for Rescue is a foster based rescue group who takes in animals without homes; we foster them, care for them, spay/neuter & find new homes through networking. We do this because there is a problem with unwanted animals in our areas that are without proper care and end up in a cycle of reproducing. We hope to make a positive impact on the number of unwanted animals by educating people about the proper care and about the importance of spaying and neutering.

Our Mission is to rescue abandoned domestic rabbits within our community and find them new homes, support our local shelters in the care of their rabbits, and educate the community on the proper and responsible care of domestic rabbit companions.

My organization is young, we opened six months ago, but we're already making a difference. We don't intake pets from the public, only transfer pets from other facilities to include our municipal shelter. Our goal is to save twice the lives while also decrease our counties euthanasia rate by helping the shelter with the amount of space and animals they have.

We are a new organization being established by experienced rescue people and individuals with broad relationships and a network with local animal shelters/impounds and vet clinics. Collectively in our Board's experience we have temperament tested, pulled from euthanasia lists from local shelters/impounds and place in appropriate and proper foster/adoptive homes well over 500 animals during our rescue careers. We are starting The Rescue Crew to focus primarily on the local, most urgent, animals in need of rescue commitment to avoid imminent euthanasia. The Rescue Crew is educational and charitable in that we instruct, train and raise awareness amongst the public and potential fosters/adopters about the importance of animal rescue and safety. This includes: 1). educating the public about general care, appropriate healthy nutrition, spay/neuter, normal temperament and routine behavior patterns of companion animals; and 2). provide educational materials and research-based information to the community and conducting public events, adoption clinics, information booths, and other public events in order to help end pet overpopulation and save companion animals' lives. We are charitable by the reducing the burden of government and prevent cruelty to animals by 1). providing rescue, shelter, food and veterinary care for companion animals in situations that are abusive, endangering, or neglectful; 2). to help end pet overpopulation by supporting spay/neuter efforts; and 3). to prevent animal homelessness by filing companion animals in need loving forever homes.

Bark Bark Wag Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit rescue group. Our mission is to help dogs out of abusive, endangering or neglectful situations; and also from pounds and shelters. We spay/neuter, microchip, and educate about the importance of positive training and good nutrition.

Our organization is devoted to rescuing and rehoming bassets and beagles in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. BBRH also puts great emphasis on educational efforts regarding these breeds and responsible pet ownership. In recent year, we are pulling and arranging the transport of dogs from as far away as Tennessee and Alabama. We are group who are passionate about hounds and providing them loving homes. We were originally started in Kansas over 10 years ago but the majority of our volunteers are now currently based out of Omaha, Nebraska. It's why our address is Nebraska but unfortunately we have been unable to update that on PetFinder so we are still listed as Kansas. Luckily we are able to locate the dogs as being in Omaha so they show up on local searches.

Pibbles 4 H.O.P.E is a 501c3 non-profit, run fully by dedicated volunteers, donation based organization working to promote the well-being of companion animals belonging to people who are homeless and low-income, by providing supplies, spay and neuter, vaccinations, medical care, education and other resources to maintain the animals’ health and safety and to educate the community about responsible pet ownership.
