Education & Outreach

Rabbit Rescue of MN is different than many other rescues as we take in sick, abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits from the public, other rescues and animal control. We fundraise in order to provide proper vetting and then focus on rehabilitation to ready our rabbits for their forever homes. All of our rescue rabbits are cared for in private foster homes where they are properly housed and receive love and socialization. Prior to adoption we screen our applicants thoroughly utilizing background checks and home visits. Included in our mission is education about proper housing, diet and medical care for first time rabbit families. Our rescue rabbits are all spayed, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue. We are aware that there are a large amount of stray and abandoned cats out in our service area and we do whatever we can to help them, either through trap-neuter-return-maintain (after spaying/neutering the cat, we have volunteers feed her every day and provide a shelter), or through foster care and adoption. We also try to provide information about the importance of spay/neuter as well as financial & behavioral support for people to help them keep their cats.

KMR Inc. was founded in 2010 by Susanne Hoshino in order to rescue homeless animals from high-kill environments. We assess, vet, adopt out, and/or transport to our Rescue Partners and provide outreach/education for pet retention and animal welfare.

11th Hour K9 Rescue Rehab Rehome is a non-profit organization committed to providing dogs in desperate situations with a final chance at a permanent home. We specialize in rehabilitating dogs with challenging behavior issues most shelters and rescues do not have the resources or expertise to manage. For many, we are the last hope.

We are 501c3 Hawaii Business that establishes and manages working cat colonies. We tnr, foster, rescue, adopt, and educate communities on responsible animal welfare. I founded the charity to save Kitties that were being euthanized due to poor colony management, irresponsible animal welfare, and abandonment .

​ CARE STL is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as the established, official No-Kill animal shelter partner for the City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control. We provide animal regulation services and help the city enforce Title 10 of the City of St. Louis Ordinance relevant to animal care and control. CARE STL also enforces and embraces the No-Kill equation and follows the guiding principles of no-kill shelters.

We are the first facility based rescue in tri cities area, we are pitbull advocate. We specials in the pit bull breed but we rescue any breed that needs our help. We do this because we have a love for animals and cant watch so many be hurt and treated so wrong.

We are a horse based rescue that also rescues cats and dogs. We rescue from neglect and abuse situations, occasionally owner surrender, kill pen horses that are shipping to Mexico for Slaughter, strY cats and dogs, etc. We rehab the animals based on their specific needs and health situation. Kind Heart Rescue is a Nonprofit 501(c)3 Organization, that has been providing Quality Rescue for over 30 years. Kind Heart Rescue provides sanctuary for homeless rabbits. Many require a couple of weeks or months before they are ready to go to a new home. Others - who are older or have suffered some sort of trauma – may never find a new home,but have found a home here for the rest of their lives, where they will know love and kindness. The mission of Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) is to promote the health and safety of all dogs and cats in Chatham County, NC. CARE foster caregivers provide loving, stable homes to homeless cats and dogs, helping them become the best possible pets for their future forever families. CARE works with the Chatham County Animal Shelter to save the lives of unwanted cats and dogs, manages feral cat colonies, and serves as an educational resource. CARE’s Lillie's Fund is a targeted spay/neuter program, subsidizing sterilization surgeries for pets owned by lower income families in Chatham County. CARE is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that has served the community since 1975 and relies on individual and corporate donors for support.
