We are animal control and maintain our animal shelter and grounds. This includes enforcing laws, and adopting pets to the general public. We are a county ran facility, open admissions for both stray and owner surrenders. We do not charge surrender fees. We take calls for service to assist the community with animal related issues. We do this because we are compassionate about animals and we want to help our community.

Pets4Luv is an all-breed dog and cat rescue with our primary focus being on the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of those animals that are injured, ill, disabled, Senior and other types of special needs, whether it is a temporary condition or a lifelong one. We also focus on the education of these companion animal illnesses, medical conditions and disabilities to help dispel the misconceptions about these conditions. We hope, with this information more readily available to the public, to increase the chances of “non-perfect” animals finding their loving, forever family. We have a Stray/Feral assistance program to help sick & injured feral cats get the medical attention the need.

We are Tammi Smith and Amber Hughes Stephens. We have both been involved in rescuing animals for many years as part of other rescues and also on our own. We take in pets that are homeless for whatever reason, treat them medically, and find forever homes for them so they are never homeless again. We rescue because we feel they need us to help them.

We are a volunteer only, foster home based rescue. The group started in 1993 to help get a better animal shelter built in Catoosa County, Ga. We then started helping people in Catoosa County get their animals spayed/neutered and help them with vet costs. After a tornado hit Ringgold, Ga, the group started foster homes to help all the lost and displaced pets. We then started vetting and rehoming animals from the shelter and the public. We are then started providing this services in Walker County, Ga as well.
