The Four Legged Ranch started in August of 2015. A home to rescues and strays, helping change their work and find loving homes.

We are non-profit, foster based, animal rescue group. Our mission is to save the unwanted, heal the damaged, and promote pet population control.

We rescue homeless or soon to be homeless GSDs and find loving families for them.

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs and cats up for adoption. Many of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding. We also have around 50 foster homes that care for our animals not located on the property. Our kennel building and nursery buildings have A/C to keep pets comfortable that need more care or to be separated from the general population. Since we began in March of 2015, we've worked on adding improvements each year to make life as good as possible for the dogs and cats during their (hopefully) short stay with us. Our focus is family-friendly pets who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a pets temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure pets are going to the right homes.

Dorothy Hanna O’Connor (1907-1992), Victoria’s preeminent caregiver of dogs and cats, established Six Flags Humane Society in 1963 as the community’s first animal rescue shelter. As the successor organization, The Dorothy H. O’Connor Pet Adoption Center is dedicated in her memory, so that a new generation of Victoria County’s citizens may continue in her work of humane treatment of dogs and cats and to facilitate the adoption of God’s creatures into loving homes. The Dorothy H. O’Connor Pet Adoption Center provides homeless animals a caring environment with the purpose of the adoption of dogs and cats into their own loving homes.

We are a non breed specific dog and cat rescue and a community outreach organization. We understand and value the powerful connection between people and pets. As we set out to provide a safer, happier life for animals, we realized that in order to do that, we were helping people as well. Through a variety of owner support programs, we strive to keep pets in their original homes whenever possible by providing food, veterinary care, training assistance, support, and more. We work with survivors of domestic abuse, Veterans, seniors, the homeless, and children, to provide access to services, find the perfect family, and educate and inspire the next generation to take action. We are a 100% volunteer run organization that relies entirely on the support of the community. ​

The Humane Society of Imperial County takes in dogs, cats, rabbits, and an occasional pig. The HSOIC never euthanizes for space. We work with rescues to move animals out of the Humane Society and into foster homes where they can be adopted. We also work with Wings of Rescue to fly animals to rescues and shelters in other states where the demand for animal adoptions is greater. We hold adoption events in San Diego as well as El Centro to move animals out as well.

Lori and myself work together as board members decide in what's best interest for each animal adopted. We are looking for foreverl Loving ,Safe homes not temporary. We are looking for fenced in yards homes, and other ways to get exercise to help them continue to socialize with humans & other dogs. We do what we do for Gods Creatures need us to watch over them and be there eyes & ears exspecially there voice. We are always needing Donations & Sponsorship to keep all our animals vet needs going all food, grain needs , month preventives. It takes a Army to provide each animal needs. PittieLove Rescue Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non profit organization based in MA. We are an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been so sorely absent from their lives.
