St. Animal Pet Adoptions aka SAPA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to local strays and surrenders in finding forever homes and a family to love them as they should be loved. We also work on educating people about the breeds The St. Animal Pet Adoptions vision is to fulfill our mission statement to increase the number of adoptions and to start an education program. The vision is to have a pet adoption program up and running immediately with obtaining our 501(c)3 status within one year of the date of inception. To bring the number of adoptable animals sent to a kill shelter to zero. To enclose the area next to the shelter to give the animals kept in the pound a place to exercise. To start an education program to help, not only educate regarding spay/neuter and the no kill method; but to instill the importance of advocacy for something you believe in, and volunteering for your community. Reduce the number of animals euthanized by re-homing more animals and increasing the adoption rate in our community. Educate the community on adequate care and control of their pets with emphasis on the importance of spaying/neutering their pets and staying up to date on the vaccinations.

The Shelter provides adoptions, dog licensing, lost and found pet services, microchipping, volunteer opportunities and humane education. Dedicated to promoting animal welfare and public awareness.

We are In the Arms of Angels, we are established in November of 2010. Our rescue is 100% volunteer run. We are an all breed rescue but specialize in bully breeds. We rescue dogs from over crowded shelters from all over the United States that would other wise be euthanized. We put our heart and soul into rescuing as many dogs as we can care for because we believe that they deserve a second chance. Someone has to the voice for the voiceless.

Rescued Tails rescues animals from local animal control facilities as well as high-kill shelters. We tend to specialize in animals that get overlooked due to their age, breed, and/or temperament. Some of our animals live in foster homes and our long-term residents live at our small sanctuary. We believe that each individual life is valuable and will do what is necessary to ensure a successful outcome for every animal.

We are a small staff that has been working at our shelter, which was established in 1966. We rescue pound animals from local impounds when their "time is up" and bring them to our shelter to be re-homed. And we do this because we care deeply about the animals that end up in local pounds at no fault of their own, and would otherwise be euthanized if we didn't step in.

Chartered in 1934, the Animal Defense League is a non-profit organization that is a true no-kill shelter for abandoned, abused, or neglected dogs and cats. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for these animals by providing needed medical care, including spaying and neutering. Food, shelter, and safety are also provided – along with compassion and attention. While maintaining a healthy and loving facility, ADL consistently works to find the best possible home for each resident animal.

MaryAnn has been involved in rescue for more than 20 years. Tails of the City is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3 organization dedicated to the rescue, treatment and rehoming of dogs and cats in the greater Los Angeles area.
