The Grace Foundation of Nor Cal

5800 Latigo Ln
California
95762
info@thegracefoundationofnorcal.org(916) 941-0800
The primary mission of The Grace Foundation (TGF) is to provide critical care and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses and utilize the rescued horses for equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs for youth and children. TGF also rescues and re-homes many livestock animals that would sell for meat or left for dead — including goats, sheep, cows, and pigs. However, we absolutely cannot turn our heads away from the increasing needs of small animals such as cats and dogs. The Grace Foundation has rescued more than 350 livestock and small animals to-date in 2011. With a 99.5% success rate, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and placed more than 115 dogs and 80 cats that otherwise would be euthanized due to surrounding area shelters facing excessive demand, reduced budgets, and limited medical care options.

Friends of Michigan Animal's Rescue

51299 Arkona
Michigan
48111
shelter1@comcast.net(734) 461-9458
FMAR is a no-kill animal shelter. Our property includes two buildings. One for cats and one for dogs. The former includes a screened patio for the cats and the latter, a large yard for the dogs to play in. Once we take in an animal, it has a home with us for it's lifetime. Some of the animals have stayed with FMAR for years before being adopted. The animals at FMAR are rescued from nearby pounds, accepted (as space is available) from the public, or left on our doorstep. FMAR is comprised solely of volunteers that have a deep love of animals. The shelters are thoroughly cleaned twice a day. All dogs are either walked or given play time in the yard every day. We have an well developed TNR program, offer educational programs for kids, and allow people to volunteer to fulfill community service hours. FMAR is well-know and well-respected in our community, and we continue to strive to provide services to the people and animals in our area.

Fuzzy Friends Rescue

6321 Airport Road
Waco
Texas
76643
volunteer@fuzzyfriendsrescue.com(254) 754-9444
Fuzzy Friends Rescue believes that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for the animals. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, medical treatment and love to our community’s animals that are abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise in need. We want to instill in our community an awareness of the animals whose world we share; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. Fuzzy Friends Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) animal welfare organization that cares for homeless and unwanted animals in a life-care environment. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another, and we care for all those we take in until they are adopted. We try to place these animals in new homes with caring families as soon as possible. Some stay at Fuzzy Friends Rescue only a matter of days or weeks, but sometimes it takes months of care and rehabilitation before they are able to go to a new home. In some cases for those harder- to- place animals, their stay may be a year or more. Unless they have developed an incurable disease or they are aggressive they have a home at Fuzzy Friends Rescue until they can be found a permanent, loving home.

I was working with other Rescue that allowed me to save lives from kill shelters and I did all the Vetting myself and did all the adoptions, found fosters which also have to complete applications with same requirements
