Doxie Acre

P.O. Box 114
North Carolina
27019
info@doxieacrerescue.org
Doxie Acre was founded Jan 2003 Doxie Acre rescues dachshunds and dachshund mixes that have no where else to go. All of the dogs taken in will be completely vetted which includes spay/neuter, shots, hw tests, dental and anything else our vet recommends. We will spare no expense to save the life of the dog taken into our care. Once the dog has been released from our vet and any issues the dog may have had have been addressed he is then ready for adoption. We then find the dog the best home through the application process.Any dog that we adopt always can come back to our rescue of needed. We got our first Dachshund 14 years ago and it was love at first sight. Like most people we were surprised to find out that even a little dog like a dachshund gets dumped. The more we talked to people and researched we realized the need to try and save the ones we can.
