Spay/Neuter Services

We are not a registered organization. We are a family taking care of abandonned puppies and dogs. We provide food, shelter, complete medical care without limits and as much love and attention as possible. We are doing this, because we love animals and want to help better the dismal situation here in PR, and give our puppies and dogs a forever home.

We are the Buchanan County Animal Project. We work closely with the Buchanan County Animal Shelter and local volunteers.

Not for profit, humane organization dedicated to the welfare of homeless animals. Facility houses up to 150 cats/dogs. Approximately 700 animals rescued and placed in new homes every year. No-kill facility. Over 4000 spay/neuter surgeries yearly at low cost to the public. Retirement home on premises for cats that survive their owners. Pet therapy program for seniors in nursing care facilities and humane education. Celebrating 40th anniversary. Operates solely on private donations.

The Cat Network, Inc. (CN) is a 501(c)3, Florida not-for-profit corporation dedicated to humanely reducing cat overpopulation by educating the public about the need to sterilize their pets and strays; providing access to low-cost spay/neuter services for stray, homeless and abandoned cats; helping members in their efforts to place adoptable cats in loving homes; and advocating non-lethal population control and humane public policy. We were founded 13 years ago as a result of the overwhelming feline population in the Miami Dade general vicinity. Our founders realized that the only way to help control the cat population was to spay and neuter as many free roaming animals as possible. Thus, our Spay/Neuter program was formed with local veternarians. And from this program, our adoption program was born. We continue doing this for our love of the animals and to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter. We also love to find loving homes for our adoptables.

The Rottweiler & American Pit Bull Terrier have fallen victim to bad press and prejudice. A Rotta Love Plus is here to defend and protect these wonderful breeds; we are their voice. Rescue We are here to rescue the unwanted & neglected Rottweilers & American Pit Bull Terriers surrendered to local animal shelters. Re-Home With the help of foster homes we evaluate the dogs and prepare them to be re-homed with a loving family. Educate We are here to educate on responsible ownership and the truth about these majestic breeds.

This is a small animal rescue for cats and dogs. I have several foster homes in various areas, and I also post pictures for people who need help finding a home for their pet, which many times has been successful. The pet doesn't have to enter a rescue or shelter and the owner is contacted, so they decide who their pet goes to. If a person can't send me pictures, and they don't live too far away, I will go and videotape the pet myself to place pictures on the internet. There have been a few pets that haven't been able to find a home through this service, but it depends on what the pet is and who is looking on the internet. When we have space available we take transfers from a local kill animal shelter. We also step in and help people who find themselves with multiple animals and no way to pay to get them fixed. Usually I will get all the females fixed to get their circumstances under control, and in some cases I will also help with donated food when I have extra. If they want to find homes for some of the many pets they have accumulated, then I will place their pictures on the internet for them. We don't euthanize unless a pet is seriously ill.

We are a group of people dedicated to helping beaten, unwanted, and abused dogs find forever homes and get back to health.

The Berkeley County Humane Society is a non-profit organization established in 1943 whose purpose is to promote the humane treatment of homeless or unwanted dogs and cats in the Easter Panhandle of West Virginia, with special emphasis on Berkeley County.
