Spay/Neuter Services

We are a county funded, county owned animal shelter. Our primary mission is animal control. My personal mission is the return of every lost pet, finding homes for every discarded, surrendered, or otherwise displaced potential pet. No other occupation brings me as much joy and heartache. Our county as a spay neuter problem. It saddens me to know every day dogs and cats are breeding and the litters will show up at our doors. We have a functional capacity of 40 animals, with a maximum of 80. We currently house 63. Our shelter sees over 1000 animals a year through our doors. I want to educate the public of spay neuter, bring in grants to help the people do so, and get our intake down to a reasonable 300-400. If we can do it, I can ensure every animal is adopted back to our citizens, or rescued.

Luv4K9s is a non-profit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. Our goal is to find "forever families" for our very deserving dogs. Our dogs range from owner released dogs to abandoned, abused, and puppy mill rescues. We also take in dogs that are deemed "not adoptable" by shelters to give them a safe haven where they will receive medical care, nutrition, and love until an approved home is found. Luv4K9s wants to reduce the number of unwanted pets by altering all dogs in our re-homing program. We also strive to educate the public about the importance of altering pets and explaining that owning a pet is a LIFELONG commitment. Luv4K9s is run entirely by volunteers. We do not receive any government support. We operate with funds generated entirely from adoption fees, fundraising, and donations.

Saved by Grace animal rescue is a small, foster-based organization that rescues, rehabs and re-homes the communities abused, neglected and homeless dogs. We advocate & educate on the importance of spay and neuter to control the over population of pets. We also assist in providing vet care for people in need and promote responsible pet ownership. There is no case too bog or too small for our team

We are a small-town animal shelter just getting started. We operated as a rescue only until we purchased our building in December 2017. We want to educate members of our community about spay/neuter for all pets. We want to activate against cat toe-amputation dangers. We also want to education on pet care and training.

We are dedicated to rescuing homeless cats/kittens that end up in shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. This includes pet cats surrendered by their owners, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We speak for those who can't speak to make sure they get a fair shot at life, and the happiness they deserve. We make sure that all of our cats/kittens have been either spayed or neutered before they go to their forever homes. We place cats/kittens in loving, responsible, and committed homes. We require an adoption application, vet and personal references, home visit, and a waiver from renters stating pets are approved. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We match our cat/kittens with adopters that we feel is the best fit. We want kitty and the new owner to have the loving relationship they both deserve.

Jake's Wish Dog Rescue in San Jose, CA is a non profit (501c3), volunteer-driven organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters due to lack of space.
