Feline Solutions is a 501(c)(3) US Federal Non-Profit, No-Kill Cat Rescue located in York County, Pennsylvania. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats/kittens that are abandoned. There are several fosters that care for cats and kittens in their homes around York County. We are immensely passionate about Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) to reduce overpopulation. Since 2012 we have spayed/ neutered over 15,000 cats. We have adopted out over 500 cats last year alone.

I have been rescuing for another group for 8 years, that group is in the process of dissolving. I am forming this group because there is a desperate need for it in this area. I believe that every cat deserves to have shelter from the elements, food, and humane care. I am hoping to lower the shelter's euthanasia rates, and help the community by taking in sick, orphaned, and abandoned cats through a network of foster homes, once expansion is necessary.

We are a home based foster organization dedicated to saving those that are medically challenged in high kill shelters. We firmly believe in rescuing those who need us the most.

We are Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue. We cover most of the Midwest. We take in any Sheltie regardless of age, condition, or health concern. We bring all dogs up to the best health we can- at any cost. We go the extra mile for any of our dogs. We are also very active in promoting "responsible pet ownership" in the community.

We are working with a group of rescues in Louisiana who are rescuing and housing animals displaced by massive flooding there. We want to use RescueGroups.org to push these animals into the HelpingLostPets system.

We are a small rescue in Tiptonville. I did rescued work for years but mostly did fostering for other rescues. We need help so bad in our southern area that we decided to start out own rescue for any dog in need.

Lucky K9 Rescue, places dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs in the greatest need take priority. We are determined to keep administrative expenses extremely low so that virtually every dollar taken in goes directly to the care of the animals. Our group remains interested in and committed to the welfare of the dog beyond the adoption process. Finally, we strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.

Cat Care Society (CCS) was founded in 1981 by Linda East, DVM and Lynn Rowe. CCS is a nonprofit organization and was established in order to improve the quality of life for homeless, injured and abused cats in the Denver metropolitan area. The Society's goals are: To sponsor educational programs that promote responsible pet ownership, humane treatment of all animals, and the elimination of pet overpopulation; To shelter cats in a healthy, cage free environment and to find compatible and responsible families for every cat; To provide community outreach programs that improve the quality of life for cats and people; To be a friend to all cats. The shelter provides a temporary refuge for more than 50 cats until an appropriate and permanent home can be found for each. Veterinary care, premium diet and human interaction are lovingly provided. The large number of phone calls received each day from people who have found abandoned, abused or injured cats needing good homes indicates a strong community need for our services. We receive an average of 70 phone calls for assistance daily. Sadly, more than half of these are from owners needing to give up their cats. For these cats, we provide Information about placing the cat and referrals to other area shelters. We also provide this same information to people who have found a cat when we are at or over our capacity and cannot take the cat. Many calls involve behavioral problems or are questions about feral (wild) cats. Behavior counseling and printed articles on a wide variety of topics are available at the shelter. Cat Care Society is supported by a number of loyal members and contributors, without whom we could not operate. We receive no government funding. In addition, our volunteers assist with many fundraising activities each year such as our Tails of the Painted Cats Gala Dinner & Auction, Meow Mart, Paws On The Green Charity Golf Tournament, Santa Paws Festival, Colorado Gives Day, and much more. Founded in 2004 by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and lifelong animal rights advocate, Emmylou Harris, Bonaparte's Retreat is a 501(c)3 foster-based nonprofit dog rescue organization. Bonaparte's Retreat is dedicated to providing nurturing care for adoptable dogs when their allotted time at a shelter has elapsed. Our mission is to prevent these wonderful animals from being euthanized and to adopt them into permanent, loving homes.

Since 1996 PBRC is an online educational - responsible ownership and funding resource for Pit Bull owners and caretakers of American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers and any mixes thereof. We actually used to have our own dog listing program, but unfortunately the program writer wouldn't update it and we had to let it go, we are looking for alternative ways to still help people place dogs.
