We are a small group of volunteers who have always had a passion for saving animals of any kind, but we are drawn to dachshunds. This drew us together and we decided to take a grass roots fundraising campaign to the next level, which is a 501c3 non profit that concentrates on rescueing dachshunds and dachshund mixes. We all do this solely for our love of animals and the breed. Corinne Zoscak is President. Kimberly Wykoff is Treasurer. Natalie McIntosh is Secretary. Corinne and Kimberly take care of mostly everything for the rescue. Natalie helps run the website and is basically a person to bounce ideas off of. We also have a long list of dedicated volunteers, foster parents, and transporters who help us accomplish our goals.

Operation Underdog, Inc

West Virginia

opundo@operationunderdog.org
OPUNDO was established to assist HSRC in Beckley WV to move healthy, adoptable dogs and cats into rescues to avoid euthanasia. At the time, they were extremely high kill. As the shelter became more self-sufficient with this (new management, etc), we branched out to start doing adoptions ourselves. We pull animals from shelters and from the public to find homes and rescues. We also offer a monthly transport to a low cost spay neuter clinic for the general public, as well as transport for shelter animals to get to rescue on the weekends.

Its low-cost Spay, Neuter, & Vaccine Clinic is open to anyone in the public. B’more Humane also works to advance the cause of the humane treatment of animals and increase awareness of animal issues through public education. Presentations are given to groups of all sizes and ages both on and off site. Finally, Baltimore Humane Society ensure a peaceful resting place for beloved pets through the operation of a beautiful and well-maintained cemetery for companion animals. Animal Rescue Farm of Mercer

We advocate for pediatric spay/neuter. We believe that you cannot adopt yourself out of an overpopulation problem, that if the focus is not on spay/neuter, we will never solve the pet overpopulation problem. We rescue dogs and puppies from Puerto Rico, where the kill rate in shelters is 91%. Our rescue partners make sure that the mother dogs of our pups are spayed, or we receive both the mother and her pups for adoption. We prefer Satos because they have excellent temperaments and our adoptive families love them forever.
