A Home at Last

PO Box 34
New York
11718
ahomeatlast@optonline.net
AHAL is a very small all volunteer group that manages several feral cat colonies and rescues cats and kittens out of those colonies, socializes them and finds loving homes. Our love of cats and the desire to reduce the cat overpopulation problem through trap/neuter/return drives us toward a goal of "no more homeless pets".

Unconditional Love Animal Rescue

P.O. Box 1715
California

ul_rescue@hotmail.com(408) 529-4945
We are a small rescue organization founded by two teachers in 1999, when a stray cat wandered onto one of our doorsteps. Since then, we have obtained our 501(C)3 status and have rescued over 1400 animals from the euthanasia lists of local shelters. We only rescue euthanasia list animals from shelters--we do not take public surrenders. All animals are fostered in homes (not kept in cages). We hold adoption fairs weekly at our local Pet Food Express stores. We also assist with TNR and offer financial support for spaying/neutering and for other rescues (for specical needs rescue animals, specifically. We are focused on saving and altering cats in our area--our local shelter has a 90 percent euthanasia rate for cats and intakes approximately 14,000 per year. So the need is dire. We absolutely love what we do--we adore the people we meet and have become lifelong friends with several of our adopters. Animals are our "connectors" to all that is good in life:)

Cat Tales Rescue

PO Box 2
Vacaville
California
95696
catinfo@catalesrescue.org
Cat Tales Rescue is an all volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to reducing the homeless, unwanted, and feral cat population of Solano County through promoting low-cost spay/neuter options and educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter. We advocate the benefits of TNR to control over population and maintain good health of feral cat colonies and educate the public about TNR and proper feral colony management. We take in abandoned cats from our communities, feral colonies and cats at risk from euthanasia, to the extent of our resources and of foster home availability. We assist the public, feral colony care takers, and shelter rescuers place cats in loving, forever homes.

Who We Are: We are experienced, animal-loving residents of Cumberland and surrounding counties, organized as a not-for-profit membership corporation. Our Mission: To reduce the rate of animal euthanasia through the promotion of animal adoptions, the rescue of healthy animals, the provision of temporary foster homes and the promotion of Spay and Neuter programs. What we do: We rescue companion animals from situations where their lives are threatened. We place these animals in a “foster care” environment in one of our member’s homes. We treat the animals as necessary (including Spay or Neuter), socialize them and otherwise prepare them for adoption into a “forever” home. We then adopt them into a loving environment. We have no kennels or other facilities so all our funding goes directly to the care of our animals. Why we do it: To reduce the very high euthansia rates in the counties that we target.
