Gotham City Kitties, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of abandoned and stray cats and kittens. We provide all necessary veterinary care and testing to insure the health and well-being of our rescues. All animals are vaccinated prior to adoption and those who are of age (6 months or older) are neutered. Adopters who choose kittens sign an agreement stating they will alter the animal at 6 months. No animal with a reasonable medical prognosis is euthanized at Gotham City Kitties because of behavior or disease.

Little Orphan's is the only rescue offering low cost spay/neuter assistance and TNR of feral cats in Marquette County, WI. The driving force behind our services is the unacceptable numbers of cats and dogs euthanized in United States shelters each year. We are staffed by unpaid volunteers who work non-stop to aid all the animals in need that we are able to.

We are a new organization, only recently submitting our paperwork for the Federal 501(c)3. We have all volunteered with other rescue organizations and have spent years doing personal rescues. We are completely foster-based, believing small, foster-based rescues have a place in the rescue/shelter universe. We do rescue because we can't turn our backs on the animals we come across in need.

We were founded in 1910. In the past, we had a shelter with a paid shelter manager. Currently, we no longer have a shelter or physical location, and we are an all-volunteer organization. There are about ten board members, and we have a monthly board meeting. We focus on cat and dog adoptions and spay/neuter by offering two to three low-cost clinics per month and discounted pricing to clients with financial assistance. We are within a county full of low-income, rural residents. Cat overpopulation is our main focus through spay/neuter and adoption services. We also assist with TNR, and offer a lower spay/neuter rate for feral cats.
