We are a county run animal shelter dedicated to helping the community and providing a safe environment for all of our residents. We attempt to control the feral animal population in the most humane ways available.

DHDR was founded on January 6, 2009. Our mission is (1) to rescue placeable purebred Doberman Pinschers in Arizona, evaluate and treat them, and place them in suitable, qualified, and loving forever homes, and (2) to educate the public about our breed and about living with a Doberman. Our first priority is to save fundamentally sound dogs who are at high risk of death or abuse, dogs on shelter “kill” lists, strays, and foundlings in accordance with applicable laws. After exploring all other options to keep them in their present homes, and when our resources permit, our second priority is to save owner-surrendered purebred Dobermans from being sent to a shelter or destroyed.

Prancing Paws is a private self funded canine rescue that was established 14 years ago. We specialize in the rehabilitation and adoption of senior small breed canines, with or without special needs. We have been very successful in the placement of these furry kids!

We try to help one animal at a time. There are so many that need help but not always ready for a new home and are in need of socialization we try to provide this.

We are a non profit animal rescue organization that is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our mission is to protect the welfare of animals, one life at a time, from unnecessary euthanasia. From high kill shelters to foster homes to caring adoptive families, Diamonds in the Ruff handles every aspect of the rescue process. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive necessary medical treatment. Foster homes are used to provide sanctuary and ensure a successful placement. Our goal is to make the adoption process a kind, informative and rewarding experience because we believe that every animal can become a treasured family pet.

I am a long distance volunteer who loves animals and cares about getting them out of the shelters before they are killed. I give the animals as much exposure as I can get to get them out of the shelter.

The purposes of Shiba Inu Rescue of Texas, Inc. are: • To rescue dogs, primarily those of the Shiba Inu breed; to assess them and place them in foster homes where their immediate needs can be met; to address all medical and training needs to the best of the Corporation's ability so that the dogs are adoptable; to place them into suitable permanent homes. • To advance and encourage the control of animal population through birth control, the Corporation will ensure that all dogs of age and adequate health are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. • To educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership. • To prevent animal cruelty by education potential adopters of the general needs of and specific breed characteristics of the rescued dogs and by matching the rescued dog with the best potential adopter available.

We are a County operated shelter serving all of Macon County North Carolina. We opened in July 2009 and our shelter has a cat room that can house up to 21 cats, 30 large dog kennels, a puppy room and both cat and dog isolation rooms. All of our animals have a limited time at the shelter, call for adoptable animal information today!

The primary mission of The Grace Foundation (TGF) is to provide critical care and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses and utilize the rescued horses for equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs for youth and children. TGF also rescues and re-homes many livestock animals that would sell for meat or left for dead — including goats, sheep, cows, and pigs. However, we absolutely cannot turn our heads away from the increasing needs of small animals such as cats and dogs. The Grace Foundation has rescued more than 350 livestock and small animals to-date in 2011. With a 99.5% success rate, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and placed more than 115 dogs and 80 cats that otherwise would be euthanized due to surrounding area shelters facing excessive demand, reduced budgets, and limited medical care options.

Private volunteer group under contract to City and County to run the shelter, we are trying to reduce the number of animals euthanized in our county and find good homes for as many as possible.
