Vaccinations

We are just starting out, but I'm hoping for great things from this group. Our Group is out to educate people on GSD's, their needs, etc. We want to help people understand the breed, and also to make sure that the breed is right for them. We currently have 2 GSDs to adopt out. Personally I have a love for German shepherds that is endless, I have a female GSD, along with a couple of rescued pitt bulls (my hubby's babies).

Saint Francis SPCA is a No-Kill, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization that was founded August 1975. The shelter is located one mile north of the Illinois-Wisconsin border in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Saint Francis SPCA provides high quality care and shelter for as many as 100 homeless dogs, 100+ homeless cats, and some hooved animals. The birdhouse, with pond, provides shelter for a variety of wild and domestic fowl. We resolve to protect, rehabilitate, and provide new and good lives for those who look and feel the worst. It is they who need us the most, who society has hurt the most, and to whom we owe the most.Saint Francis SPCA believes that no animal should be killed because it costs too much money or it is too much trouble to fix a broken leg or a broken spirit. Saint Francis SPCA believes that death is not the only escape for the abused, the sick, the scared, the abandoned, the starved, and the ugly.

LL Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Missouri Nonprofit Corporation, licensed with Missouri as an Animal Care Facility, and with Kansas as an Animal Shelter, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for unwanted dogs. We specialize in purebred toy-breeds, purebred Chihuahua and purebred Sheltie rescue in the Greater Kansas City area including both Missouri and Kansas. Many of our dogs are owner turn-ins; some are strays; others are adopted out of local shelters if their time is up. Our dogs are spayed or neutered (or adopted out under a pre-paid spay/neuter contract if under 4 months of age), heartworm checked negative, and given rabies, kennel cough and parvo/distemper inoculations. Many of our dogs are wormed, and some receive extensive dental care. We provide pre- and post-adoption education on care and maintenance of our pets, from veterinary needs to behavioral issues.

We are a non-profit shelter I volunteer for this shelter from my home in Atlanta, GA because I believe in the work they are doing. They are a wonderful shelter that is doing great work

Canadian Hound Rescue is a small, not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned coonhounds find loving and permanent homes as indoor pets. We mainly operate in Ontario, but have volunteers in other provinces as well. We rescue all breeds of coonhounds including the Black and Tan, Bluetick, Redbone, English, Plott Hound, and Treeing Walker Coonhounds. We also rescue Bloodhounds and hound mixes.

ALL-AMERICAN MUTT RESCUE, INC. is a foster-based animal rescue organization that has grown out of love and compassion for animals. Located in Huddleston, VA, we are truly in the heart of Virginia – 30 minutes from Lynchburg, 30 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake, 30 minutes from Bedford, and 60 minutes from Roanoke. Our motto is “Rescue … rehome … real love” and we try to live it every day. We rescue animals in need of new homes and loving families. We make sure each of them is spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all routine vaccinations. If other medical care or treatment is needed, we get that for them as well. We welcome them into our homes and our lives and really get to know their personalities and their needs. Then we make it our mission to re-home them … and to place them in the forever home that will be perfect for them. Some of them really need to have another pup companion while others will do fine being an ‘only pet.’ Some love having children to play with while others prefer being with adult people. Some do well sharing a home with cats or other small pets while others, well … not so much. And the only way you know this is by living with them! We also work to educate and encourage pet owners to spay or neuter their animals to a) help their pets lead longer, healthier lives and b) help reduce the numbers of homeless and unwanted animals in our Central Virginia communities. It is such an easy thing to do! Not only will it benefit your pet and your family, but it will help reduce the numbers of wonderful, adoptable animals that are euthanized every year. Petzone (non-profit) is making a difference one dog at a time by saving from euthanasia from walton co. animal control (euth rate over 80%), temperment testing, set up facility like doggie daycare for our death row dogs, offer obedience training to our dogs and low cost to public, offer full and self-serve grooming, offer premium pet food and treats for sale, offer low cost vax clinic 4th sat/mo. and have a thrift shop to offer low cost household goods to the public to offset our costs.
