Coastal German Shepherd Rescue of Southern California is a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned German Shepherds. Your tax deductible donations go to support these very deserving animals. Coastal was formed to serve communities in the counties of San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. Coastal is dedicated to providing new beginnings for homeless German Shepherds who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, relinquished by their owners or just left at local shelters to await an uncertain future. We are committed to finding loving permanent homes for the Orphaned dogs in our care. Coastal is an all volunteer, no-kill, non profit organization. Our mission is to educate the public about German Shepherds, their lifespan, personality, activity level, along with overall responsible dog ownership. We also raise awareness of over population of animals through education, training, spaying and neutering. We work very hard to match each dog with the adoptive families.

Sachi Animal Rescue specializes in rescuing, rehabilitating and placing companion dogs(primarily, but not exclusively, the Boxer breed) that have otherwise been abandoned and neglected or abused, into loving homes. We do this because there is such a huge amount of dogs euthanized every day who could have been great pets if only they'd been given the chance. We do this because even though saving one life at a time may seem futile, one life saved is still a victory.

This is a joint project between two rescues - TLC is a nonprofit (www.tinylovingcanines.org) that holds weekly adoptions in Moorpark, CA at PETCO; Pets Hope LLC is not yet a nonprofit, but they have a petshop location in a large mall in Simi Valley. Opened 6 months ago, they ONLY have rescued dogs and cats. TLC pulls the dogs and for those we are having a hard time placing with the limited 4 days a month, the petshop is a prime showcase for adoption but all month long, 7 days a week. Basically, TLC is trying to support this concept of having dogs and cats available to the public for adoption throughout the month - for those dogs and cats that can handle the petshop environment (not all of our rescued dogs can deal with this, and for those, we come into the petshop every Sunday and show them in Xpens).
