We believe all life matters, and the animals did not ask to be on the situation they are in. We do not want to see them die or neglected, therefore we put forth our best effort to rehabilitate them and care for them until a new home is found.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible animal rescue organization whose mission is to save as many animals as possible. We work closely with Alachua County Animal Services to reduce euthanasias at the Alachua County shelter. We adopt dogs and cats of all ages to good homes at the Gainesville Petsmart (Butler Plaza on Archer Rd, click for a map) every Saturday and Sunday. We have a great selection of adoptable animals, including puppies, adult dogs, small dogs, cats, and kittens. All of our animals have been started on vaccinations (depending on how long they have been with us, they may need further vaccinations after adoptions). All have been vet checked and treated for any notable illness. All dogs are heartworm negative and many have been through heartworm treatment in our program. Some of these animals may have special needs, all of which are discussed at time of adoption. We often have specials on adult animal adoptions. Not that these animals have flaws, but they are slightly used and may not be perfect! These are adult animals looking for a permanent home and they have many different stories of their pasts and all deserve a second chance at the good life.

Cat Lovers Inc. is a small south Tampa all-volunteer organization working to rescue stray cats and find them forever homes. We are involved in helping control the feral cat population in Hillsborough County though the TNR program (trap, neuter & return). Our goal is to stop euthanasia as a population control. We also educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter and regular vet checkups for pets.

The Cat Network, Inc. (CN) is a 501(c)3, Florida not-for-profit corporation dedicated to humanely reducing cat overpopulation by educating the public about the need to sterilize their pets and strays; providing access to low-cost spay/neuter services for stray, homeless and abandoned cats; helping members in their efforts to place adoptable cats in loving homes; and advocating non-lethal population control and humane public policy. We were founded 13 years ago as a result of the overwhelming feline population in the Miami Dade general vicinity. Our founders realized that the only way to help control the cat population was to spay and neuter as many free roaming animals as possible. Thus, our Spay/Neuter program was formed with local veternarians. And from this program, our adoption program was born. We continue doing this for our love of the animals and to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter. We also love to find loving homes for our adoptables.
