PAST Claws and Paws Animal Rescue of Marion County was formed and incorporated on December 20th, 2005. PRESENT Paws and Claws has adopted a no kill policy. We do not euthanize animals as a means of population control. Instead, we focus on spay/neuter efforts to reduce the pet overpopulation. We are NON-Profit. We are all volunteers. This means that we operate solely on donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. If you would like to do a bake sale, car wash or some other fundraiser to benefit these animals. Please let us know how we can help you. We have donation containers at several business in the local area. We also accept aluminum cans & newspapers too. If you would like to make a large cash donation to offset your taxes. Let us know, we will provide you with the proper papers. . FUTURE Our ultimate goal is to have no homeless dogs or cats in this county. With time and proper education in our schools and community on spay and neutering, our citizens can learn how to better care for animals, thus preventing an overpopulation of unwanted animals.

Alcovy Pet Rescue, Inc. a Georgia state–licensed, 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization dedicated to the rescue of adoptable companion dogs, cats and small animals in order to prevent needless euthanasia of these healthy animals. We believe that dogs and cats, as living creatures, are entitled to a quality life with respect and compassion. Inasmuch as humans are responsible for having domesticated pets, we have a moral and ethical obligation to care for the dogs and cats, especially those we have domesticated who are abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise in need. We want to instill in our community an awareness of all the dogs and cats whose lives we share, to promote and encourage responsible dog/cat ownership and to stress the importance of spaying/neutering of all companion dogs and cats.
