We are a not for profit no kill animal shelter, licensed by the IL Department of Agriculture, and are foster home based. Our board members have a history working with animals as groomers, trainers, dog owners, & have experience working in a no kill shelter before. We banded together due to the lack of manpower and shelters in our area to save animals from unnecessary death and loss of a home due to todays economy. We want to make a bigger difference in our community, but our need for foster homes is always limiting the number of dogs we can help. We are seeking more foster homes all the time.

IEBR was formed in 2009 to find homes for purebred English Bulldogs. IEBR rescues dogs from shelters and puppymills and accepts dogs from owners who for any reason can no longer provide a home for their bully. The bulldogs that come through our rescue program are seldom in “perfect” condition in terms of health, temperament or both; however with a little love, medical attention and time, rescued English Bulldogs dogs make great companions.

"Saints Among Us", Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue, affiliated with the National Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abandoned, abused, homeless, and relinquished Saints find a "forever home". ISBR is run solely by volunteers who have a great love for the breed and the dedication to help save them. Our volunteers put in countless hours and travel great distances, to ensure that these wonderful Saints find loving forever homes and are not destroyed.

Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue is a small 501(c)3 federal nonprofit rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of Shih Tzu and Shih Tzu mixes who find themselves facing euthanasia in shelters, released from puppy mills and needing a new chance at life and other dogs from unfortunate situations. Our mission and goal are simple... to rescue as many needy Shih Tzu and Shih Tzu mixes as our resources will allow, to rehabilitate them in preparation for their new families and lives, and to find the absolute best possible forever homes for them. One by one... until there are none.

Midwest Animal Rescue Service of Illinois (MARS) was started in 2009 in order to help alleviate the pet over-population issues in southern IL, MO, KY, AR, and TN through a no-kill adoption program. Our desire to help animals in need has allowed us to offer rescue services for hundreds of dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, and horses.

MSIR is a 501c3 non profit breed rescue organization dedicated to helping shiba inu in need. We rescue, provide veterinary care, socialize, and find loving forever homes for shiba inu from many sources including shelters, owner surrenders, and puppymill releases.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 shelter catering to the many stray, abandoned, neglected and needy pets within Kankakee County. We are committed to educating the public on animal welfare & care including necessity of vaccinating, microchiping and spay/neuter to reduce pet over-population. Many of these animals come to us as strays or their owners refuse to care for them. We work very hard with very limited resources to provide these animals with all they need and to find them new, loving and permanent homes. However, we stand firm with the following: * We will not accept, nor allow to be placed on us, the guilt that belongs to the owners of these pets. We did not cause these pets to become a problem or inconvenience to their owners, we did not cause their owners to move, to have children, to become allergic, or to become ill.
