Tara's House is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization based in Columbia and Silver Spring, Maryland. Our mission is to rescue and then provide care and compassion for our pets while working to place them, through a competitive adoption process, in permanent, loving homes. We are a high-placement organization and we rescue our pets primarily from high-kill shelters with no funding for their own adoption programs. We receive no government funding of any kind, and therefore operate solely on private donations, adoption fees and volunteer efforts.

IGCA Rescue is a club sponsored re-homing service provided for Italian Greyhounds that have been abandoned at animal shelters, taken from abusive homes or surrendered to Rescue due to the death or divorce of the former owner. Occasionally, dogs are turned over to Rescue because the owner can no longer keep the dog and the dog was acquired from a source to which it cannot be returned. IGCA Rescue volunteers foster these dogs in their homes, where their health and temperament are evaluated. All dogs are taken for a veterinary check-up: when necessary, vaccinations are updated, the animal is neutered/spayed and its teeth are cleaned. Each Italian Greyhound is evaluated so that it can be placed in a home suitable to both the dog and the new owner.

We are a small rescue group based in MD. with volunteers located in differents states. We rescue GSP's from shelters and or owner surrenders or where ever there is a need to help a dog. We do what we do because there is a GREAT need to saves these animals and because we just love these dogs so much that our heart goes above and beyond to save them. It gives us such great joy to love & nurture them back to good health and to watch them learn to trust a humane being again. We truley LOVE what we do. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE DOG!

We are a German Shepherd Rescue. We work with German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes.

We are a small group of volunteer women whose children are grown and we wish to give back to the community of dogs in need that we all dearly love.
