Survivor Tails Animal Rescue is a 501c3-pending, non-profit, all-volunteer organization that exists to rescue, rehome, and rehabilitate homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected dogs and cats and place them in loving and responsible forever homes. More than 4 million cats and dogs die each year in animal shelters across the country due to overpopulation issues. That's why we're here. Our mission is twofold: to find these unwanted animals loving homes of their own and to work with communities and like-minded organizations to stop the issue of overpopulation from the top. We don't want to just put a bandage on the issue, we want to prevent animal homelessness from the get go.

The mission of ABARS is to find homes for unwanted Bullmastiffs that come from shelters or are owner surrenders from people whose lifestyle or financial situation has changed. Occasionally ABARS will get Bullmastiffs that have been abandoned at a local veterinarian's office or from a good citizen that has found the dog and exhausted all means to locate the dog's owner. ABARS is not a placement service for our members' unwanted or returned dogs.We do accept owner surrenders from people who have purchased their dogs at pet shops or backyard breeders, but most of the dogs we place are of unknown origin and unknown age. ABARS will not re-home a Bullmastiff that has any history of aggression to adults or children. ABARS cannot accept for placement, dogs that are Bullmastiffs mixes - we only take dogs that are known to be Bullmastiffs or can be represented as such. The Bullmastiffs are neutered or spayed before they are adopted and receive all the vet care they need so they can be represented as being in good health

Broken Tail Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue organization dedicated to the rescue of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats in urgent need. We work closely with local animal controls, animal shelters and rescue groups to ensure the placement of these forgotten animals. We will not discriminate on basis of health, age, or breed and will only consider humane euthanasia in cases of aggression or for quality of life due to untreatable medical conditions. Our animals are vet examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered as needed and receive any and all medical treatment necessary prior to being placed into carefully screened permanent homes. We are proud to have a 100% spay/neuter rate on the canines and felines we adopt out. No animal leaves unaltered!
