OLHS is a small 501(3) K shelter that has an open door policy (no animal is turned away, to try to find good homes for adoptable pets where the pet is a part of the family and does not end up back out on the streets. Our mission is to decrease pet overpopulation by offering low cost spay/neuter program, spay/neuter education, and spaying/neutering all pets prior to adoption from the facility.

We are a Mid SOuth regional sanctuary of In Defense of Animals,. Our primary concern is the prevention of cruelty to animals in Mississippi and the houseing and placement of animals that have been abused, neglected and injured.

We are the Marshall County Humane Society located in Holly Springs, MS, a non-profit organization made up of a very active and dedicated group of volunteers. Our goals are to educate people on responsible pet ownership and to reduce the homeless pet population through adoptions and encouraging spay/neuter.
