Black dogs are the last to be adopted and the first to be euthanized in shelters. We find them their second chance.

We are a small group who helps needy animals in bad situations, we are STRICTLY no kill.

Mighty Mutts is a no-kill, non profit all volunteer rescue organization that rescues stray dogs and cats from the streets of New York City. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated immediately upon rescue. Cats are blodd tested twice for FiV and FeLV over a 6 month period in quarantine before they are allowed to mingle.

The Rosendale shelter is operated by the Town of Rosendale,Ulster Co. N.Y. We adopt out only Dogs. We are very careful to match the right dog with the right family,taking thier lifestyles into account and sizing up the family situation so that a miss-match doesn't occur.

The Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark is a full service shelter which has served the Tri-State community for more than four decades. Our Shelter was established in 1959 by Robert Kleinstuber as a memorial to his wonderful dog, Jeff. Our shelter works every day for the protection and welfare of all animals in need.

We are a NYS registered 501c3 nonprofit that operates on donations, adoptions, fundraisers, and grants. We receive no funding from the Wyoming County or NYS governmeny or ASPCA EIN 22-2365422 NYS RR076
