We are a non-profit rescue group, having rescued and rehomed over 1000 cats and kittens as of August of 2015, which was our seventh anniversary. We operate solely on donations, grants, and adoption fees; none of the volunteers in our group are paid. Any and every donation goes 100% to the care of our cats and kittens and is tax-deductible. We are always looking for dedicated individuals willing to donate time to volunteer in our rescue group. We are always in desperate need of foster homes to temporarily house our cats and kittens. Please email us for more information. Please visit our Downtown Adoption Center Store and take home items for your small animals, dogs and cats. All purchases are donations to Paws & Claws Feline Rescue.

WHO WE ARE Wanda's Little Rescue is a not for profit rescue, that is based in Raleigh, NC. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, unwanted and abandoned small dogs from kill shelters in and around the Carolinas. We also will take in strays from the street to keep them from going into a kill shelter. On occasion, we will also save a dog from Craigslist, to keep them from falling into the wrong hands, for unspeakable reasons. Wanda's Little Rescue is a private, foster home-based rescue and we do not have a public shelter for viewing our dogs. All of our dogs are in foster homes, prior to them being adopted into their forever homes. All of our dogs in our care are full vetted prior to adoption. This means they are examined, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and receive any and all necessary medical treatment before being placed as available for adoption. Our potential adopters are carefully screened and thoroughly interviewed, to decide if they are a good fit for our dogs. We want to help to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, one pet at a time. Many reference links can be found on our "Informative Links" page, to assist in learning how to properly care for your pet. If you don't find what you are looking for, drop us a line and we will do our best to provide you with a link to the information you seek.

Ruff Love Foster Care and Dog Rescue

PO Box 2013
Thomasville
North Carolina
27361
dogs315@northstate.net
The mission of Ruff Love Rescue (www.ruffloverescue.com) is to provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, neglected, and/or abandoned dogs; especially those seen as poor adoption prospects. We maintain information about reputable canine organizations and rescues, networking with as many of these as possible to place adoptable dogs in responsible, loving environments, either through foster care or whenever possible, forever homes. We are a home based foster group with no adoption facility. We adopt to North Carolina but in special circumstances can go out of state. We use every pro-bono means at our disposal to raise public awareness about homeless animals and responsible pet care as well as to find homes for our dogs. Dogs who are not adopted will live out their lives at Ruff Love. Ruff Love Rescue is run entirely by volunteers. We have full time jobs and save dogs in our spare time. Currently RLR has over 100 dogs. Since 1999, Sue Rogers, President/Founder and RLR volunteers have found forever homes for hundreds of homeless dogs.
