We are a foster-based cat rescue. We only take cats from local animal impounds which are the most at risk populations. Sara, the president, volunteers at the Bismarck/Mandan animal impound and saw the need for additional rescue services.

Mission To improve the quality of life for companion animals, to place homeless cats and dogs in suitable homes, and to provide programs to reduce the overpopulation and euthanasia of companion animals. Company Overview We shelter and care for homeless animals in the Richland-Wilkin county area with hopes of finding them new homes through foster care or adoption.

C.A.A.R.E. is an all-volunteer North Dakota 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and is the only shelter and rehoming service for parrots in the State of North Dakota.

Diamond in the Ruff Pet Rescue sees a need to expand foster and adoption services in the Fargo, ND, area as well as expanding on education such as breed specifics, spay/neutering importance, and general handling of pets/animals. The organization is run solely on volunteers who are passionate and professional overseen by a group of eight who make up the board of directors.

We are a small staff that has been working at our shelter, which was established in 1966. We rescue pound animals from local impounds when their "time is up" and bring them to our shelter to be re-homed. And we do this because we care deeply about the animals that end up in local pounds at no fault of their own, and would otherwise be euthanized if we didn't step in.
