We rescue cats off of the streets of Cleveland and give them the care they need. If they are feral, we put them into our TNR program, if they are adoptable they go up for adoption, and if they are neither they become one of our sanctuary cats.

This organization was inspired by my foster failure Max. Max needed Spinal surgery and was rescued by the rescue community coming together. It really takes a village to save and rescue animals. We believe that all lives matter from puppies to senior animals. We try to help out where we can. For our organization and others. We believes in teamwork which gets more things accomplished. We are currently raising money for our foster/rescue dog Zoey. Our current long term goal is to plan and save for our nonprofit status.

Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that rescues, nurtures, and finds forever homes for neglected, abandoned, and stray cats and kittens in Northeast Ohio. Our founders have over 30 combined years of experience fostering approximately 200 cats and kittens of all ages and abilities. We have volunteered and held leadership and board positions with other local rescue organizations, and we collaborate with a large network of groups and individuals to achieve our mission. Our dedicated and experienced volunteers foster our cats in safe and loving environments until they are adopted into homes of their own. We monitor every cat’s growth, health, and personality, and provide needed socialization and medical care in preparation for adoption, including spaying and neutering. We will never offer a cat for adoption before it is emotionally, socially, and medically ready, and take great care matching the right cat with the right owner. Age, personality, and the little quirks that make every cat unique must meet your needs and be compatible with a potential new home. Our goal is for everyone to fall in love and live happily ever after. Cats that are not adopted still have a home... with us. We love and care for our cats for the rest of their lives, so they are never hurt or abandoned again. Please consider supporting our efforts with a donation using the link.

Spilled Milk Cat Sanctuary was created when a local vet's Cat Adoption Program was discontinued and the remaining cats had no place to go, their fate was uncertain. Once we formalized our organization and absorbed the cats from that vet into our Adoption Program, then we began helping homeless Cats in our Community. For the Cats that are not adoptable due to medical or socialization issues, we have a Cat Sanctuary Program where these cats are safe, cared for and have indoor /outdoor access in a group room environment and can receive vetting when needed
