We are a privately run shelter. We pride ourselves on the level of medical care that we provide to all of our animals. We truly go above and beyond.

We are a non-profit dog rescue sanctuary located in Port Hope. We rescue dogs without a home, rehabilitate them then rehome them to their forever home. We do it to help save dogs lives and prevent animal cruelty and welfare.

We are a registered non-profit charity founded in 2012. We consist of a Board of Directors and are totally run by volunteers. We primarily take in Northern dogs but also rehome animals from local shelters as well as owner surrenders.m (when applicable.) We spay/neuter all our animals as well as include age appropriate vaccines and a microchip. We also treat any known medical conditions before adoption.

Our mission is to ensure that homeless pets, pets that can no longer be cared for, as well as dogs that have no more time, come into our care and have a new outlook on life. We believe that EVERY dog has a chance at a long, healthy life full of love and snuggles. We believe in the 3 R's....RESCUE, REHABILITATE, RE-HOME. Every dog that comes into our care will be treated with compassion and respect. All of our rescue dogs are an extension of our family, and therefore are treated as such. There will be endless amounts of love, affection, and snuggles.

Community Alley Trappers (CAT) is non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We focus our efforts into helping un-owned stray and feral cats and kittens through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

We are a small group of volunteers that rescues primarily from Hamilton Animal Services. We believe that all animals deserve a second chance and we often rehabilitate "difficult" cats. We take great pride in knowing we have done a good thing and helped save a life.

The Little RES Q is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and relocation of exotic pet reptiles in an attempt to keep them from being released into the wild. We provide a better option for those who, for one reason or another, cannot take care of their reptiles anymore. Founded in 2008 by Marc Ouellette, the rescue started as a dedicated aquatic turtle shelter in Toronto and now accepts in most legal reptiles as space permits. Many small reptiles, especially turtles, get purchased as a pet for a young family member without fully understanding the costs in both material and time needed for proper care of the animal. Sadly all too often these poor creatures suffer from neglect even with the owner's best intentions. We are a limited admittance shelter that restricts intake in order to uphold a standard in quality of life for the surrenders in our care. We implement a waiting list when necessary, use a foster care network to help, and emphasize adoption and responsible pet ownership for all types of reptiles.

Completely Volunteer Run, Not for Profit, Registered Charity. Foster Based. Rescue cats and kittens for high kill shelter. Provide Veterinary care for these cats including vaccines, microchipping, spay or neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV test, and other treatments as needed (Dentals, Bloodwork etc)
