We are a rescue group for Golden Retrievers, since inception in 1990 we have brought in over 1600 dogs, last year alone we brought in 221 Golden Retrievers. As the largest single breed rescue group in Ontario we pride ourselves in being very professional in how we handle everything from intakes to adoptioins and follow up calls on all our dogs for the remainder of their lives. Our adopters become part of our rescue family. All our volunteers and foster homes know the Golden Retreiver breed well and this is why we have such a high success rate. We do this because we not ony love animals but we love Goldens, for the most part it is because our first love was a Golden. Everything we do is about the dog, they are the reason we are here.

Sentinel Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and our trainer. We are able to rescue dogs in need and provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behaviour training, and good nutrition.

Speaking of Dogs Rescue Program is a Canadian registered charity. We are a volunteer-based dog rescue in Toronto that is dedicated to assisting dogs from shelters as well as taking in dogs surrendered by their owner when space allows. We have a focus on helping senior dogs. Our dogs are lovingly cared for in foster homes until we find them a suitable forever home.

Genesis Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, dogs from high-kill shelters and no kill shelters and we also take in owner surrenders who can no longer care for their animals. We do so by working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and our trainers. We are able to rescue dogs in need and provide them with loving temporary care and find them well-matched carefully screened "furever homes". We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership. This includes the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition.

ARF works with First Nations and Rural communities in Ontario to rescue, rehab, and re-home stray dogs and cats.

Running Rabbit Farm began with one mission: to rescue, rehabilitate and provide new loving forever homes for abused, abandoned and neglected house rabbits. We are a no-kill non-profit organization that provides care and medical attention at our facilities or in carefully screened foster homes until permanent loving homes are found. Rabbits that cannot be placed for whatever reason will be given sanctuary for the remainder of their lives. They will be pampered and loved as they should be. We accept rabbits that are surrendered by their previous owners, shelters, humane societies and strays that find their way to us. If not for Running Rabbit Farm, many of these animals would be destroyed in shelters or die when released in the wild.

I have been doing rescue for almost 20 years. I have been involved in wildlife rescue as well. This is my passion in life. I have 3 rescue danes of our own.

Canadian Hound Rescue is a small, not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned coonhounds find loving and permanent homes as indoor pets. We mainly operate in Ontario, but have volunteers in other provinces as well. We rescue all breeds of coonhounds including the Black and Tan, Bluetick, Redbone, English, Plott Hound, and Treeing Walker Coonhounds. We also rescue Bloodhounds and hound mixes.
