Feline Lifeline's mission is "to give homeless cats a chance," not after they are taken to a public animal shelter, but while they are still living on the streets, eating out of trash cans and surviving long enough only to produce a litter or two of kittens doomed to the same fate as their parents. Feline Lifeline helps cats living outdoors in "colonies." Most colony cats are too fearful of humans to become pets, so they are trapped and taken to a veterinarian for vaccinations, spay or neuter and treatment for fleas and worms. Other health problems are also given veterinary care. The cats that cannot be tamed are then returned to the places where they had been living, but their living areas are improved with shelters (where possible) and the cats are fed daily. Tame cats are adopted into loving homes.

We take in unwanted, injured, stray and abandoned animals. We provide all necessary vet care, rehab and daily care until they are carefully placed in the right forever home. We have a Sanctuary for unadoptables and seniors. We provide info to anyone in need on how to get discounted spay/neuters and work to educate on the importance of that.

I am the shelter manager of Hampton County Animal Shelter. I have been employed since 2013 and volunteered even before. I have always been involved with animals and chose to take a position at the shelter so that my love for animals could help on a higher level than just a pet owner.

SCCCP was created to help and improve the lives of local, unowned community cats through TNR, education, and advocacy of humane cat population control & the importance of spay/neuter. Based in Spartanburg County, SC. We are dedicated to prevent cat & kitten suffering by humanely reducing the homeless cat population. We rely largely on donations to continue our work, and fundraising is essential to our program. We are a volunteer based organization.

We strive to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable: the abused, injured, disabled, terminally ill, or in need of medical care. We treat, vaccinate, fix, and rehome the cats we bring in.

Founded in 2016 with sole purpose of vamping up rescue program at Sumter Animal Control. Our volunteer-based organization is the bridge between the shelter and a happy ending. We are not an open intake rescue, as our primary focus is helping the animals that find themselves in our local animal control facility

Our organization started in Nov 2016 to help kittens and adults at local shelters. We have since moved to taking more from the community such as founding kittens needing bottle feeding. We are foster based and can only take on new cats based on available fosters. We work to educate the community about services and resources with regards to cat care, free or low cost spay/neuter, how to TNR, and we also make community Cat shelters. So many people would help found animals if given the information and guidance.

Dorchester Paws, formerly known as Frances R. Willis SPCA, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Dorchester County, South Carolina. Dorchester Paws is the only open-admission shelter in Dorchester County, serving towns including Rosinville, Ridgeville, Oakbrook, St. George, Summerville and Grover, SC. Partnering with Dorchester Code Enforcement, we take in every lost, abandoned and abused animal and provide them with food, shelter and medical attention until they find their forever home.

The Humane Society of McCormick County is a no-kill animal rescue. We pick up homeless cats and dogs in McCormick County and help them find loving homes. We offer low-cost spay and neuter to any cat or dog in the County and we a have a progressive trap - neuter or spay -and return (TNR) program and we monitor and feed several community cat colonies every day. We are 100% funded by private donations, grants and money raised through fundraising activities. All money raised goes to helping animals because we are all volunteers. The county does not have a city or county-run shelter. We are all our county has for help with homeless cats and dogs. We care for the dogs and cats that would otherwise have no other place to go.
