Sioux Falls Canine Rescue is 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a group of volunteers that work to rescue and re-home our many canine friends.

We are a small group of people who are committed to helping pets in the city pound as well as other pets in need. Before Mitchell Animal Rescue started in 2008, all the pets MAR obtains from the city pound would have more than likely have been euthanized! We do not have a facility of our own and all of our pets are housed in foster homes.

An all volunteer 501C3 rescue group in Sioux Falls South Dakota, Sioux Empire Pit bull's mission is to promote responsible Pit Bull ownership, provide breed education, combat pet overpopulation, and find qualified homes for sound Pit Bull dogs in South Dakota.

Diane started doing fostering at the Sioux Falls Humane Society and then Pet Pals for Life. She had a passion for dachshunds. We noticed that the Sioux Falls area had a need for a dachshund rescue so her and I (Doug) started DDR. The response and need was much greater than we anticipated.
