We are animal control for all of Washington County, we enforce city and state animal laws, we pick up stray and unwanted pets and if not claimed by their owner, we put them up for adoption. We use as many rescue groups as we can to help find homes for all of our pets and the internet has been very helpful to our efforts.

We are a grass roots, citizen based, all volunteer animal rescue/spay/neuter/education group.

ARI is primarily an infrastructure and support group to serve other rescues. We often have a large population of hounds on hand and coordinate with a group close to the potential adopter to handle the details. We tend to work more with adoption groups than with individuals, but when we DO do adoptions, the fee is usually $150. All dogs are completely vetted and neutered before transfer from us.

Loudon County Friends of Animals is a group of caring dedicated volunteers who are working hard to rescue and place the animals that find their way into the public shelter system. The animal shelter in Loudon County, Tennessee does not have the resources, financial backing, space or manpower, to house all the stray and surrendered animals on an indefinite basis. Therefore, the clock starts ticking for these animals at the moment that they are deemed ready for adoption. Our primary mission is to work to insure that as many animals as possible are rescued through either direct adoption, or placement into the foster care system before the clock stops ticking and their time is up. In the meantime, we also support spay/neuter programs and trap and release effort (TNR) of feral cat colonies in order to reduce the number of animals being born which might eventually find their way into the shelter system. Our mission at MidSouth Pug Rescue is to support the Pug breed in their time of need by rescuing Pugs from dirty, unhealthy or dangerous conditions and finding them "forever" homes where they can live out their lives in a happy, healthy and safe environment.

SGDR is a foster based rescue located in Thompsons Station, TN whose main focus is seniors, special needs, and extreme medical cases. Our mission is to help relieve area shelters of their euthanasia numbers as well as taking in as many seniors and medical needs who would not be considered adoptable in the shelter environment. We do what we do because....well, it's what we should do.

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to photographing animals at the Tipton County Animal Shelter and getting them as much exposure as possible. We also have a transport program available to get shelter animals to safety. Our group also offers free transport for people in our community to have their animals spayed/neutered. We fully fund our shelter's vaccination program and raise money to have many of the animals spayed or neutered making them more adoptable.

Goverment runned facility controling the population of Greene Co. with a humane capture, impound, and disposal of animals as needed to ensure public safety, health and welfare.

We are a team of dedicated equine advocates who seek to improve the quality of life for the animals in our area through outreach, education, rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.

We are a rescue group who rescues animals from high kill shelters because they deserve a second chance at life
