We are a city owned shelter. We will only be excepting animals from the City of Jacksonville residents. We are a small animal shelter we can only house 10 dog kennels and 12 cat kennels in our shelter.

We are a nonprofit 501C3 organization dedicated to helping neglected and distressed cats and dogs and getting them the help they need.

I retired as a CPA in 2009 and dedicated my life to take care of animals. We feed feral cats, TNR feral cats, provide Vet care for the cats. We feed numerous dogs, provide dog food to the owners, especially Seniors, provide Vet care for the dogs. We rescue cats and dogs and work with other Charitable Organizations to get the rescued cats and dogs adopted.

Who We Are For Paws Sake Rescue is the dream of the founder Melody, RN, USAF Veteran. Melody saw firsthand the heart wrenching conditions of street dogs in South Texas. After adopting and rescuing her own pups, Melody wanted to help make a differnce in the lives of unwanted dogs and volunteered for several rescues. "If the time comes that I have the chance to start a rescue, I'm going for it". We are a dog rescue that uses foster homes to place dogs until adoption. We primarily rescue dogs that are dumped outside of the city limits that do not fall under an animal shelter's jurisdiction.

We are a group of seasoned rescuers with years of experience. Our specialy will be senior dogs or harder to place dogs.

Saving Our Companion Animals – Fort Bend County (SOCA-FBC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. SOCA-FBC is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of companion animals and promoting responsible pet ownership in Fort Bend County, TX Our 100% volunteer organization helps sick/injured animals, urgent or needy shelter pets, and community animals needing to be re-homed. We render assistance to our local shelters. We believe that becoming a community that cares for its pets starts with Education, Assistance and Accountability. We rely 100% on contributions from the public and your generous support in providing foster homes for the pets in need.

We are a foster based rescue that saves dogs from kill shelters. We fully vet all of our dogs including spay/neuter them and microchip them.
