Arizona Small Dog Rescue

Phoenix
Arizona

adopt@azsmalldog.org(602) 944-2440
Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs and cats too. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs and cats that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to prescreened homes. We rescue many dogs and cats every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.

Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue of MN

315 4th Street
Minnesota
55024
wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com
Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. We are a small, volunteer run organization. All of our animals listed are in foster homes waiting to be adopted and because of this, we get to know the animals' personalities very well and use this information to match them to an appropriate home. We do not have a physical shelter. This rescue is not funded by public funds nor does it receive many donations so it is dependent on adoption fees to keep operating. We provide all needed supplies and cover medical costs of the foster while it awaits a forever home.

Florida

Barkie's Legacy was named in honor of my mother (nicknamed "Barkie") and we rescue typically larger dogs at great risk of euthanization. We get them up to 100% then find them a forever home. We do it b/c we're tired of seeing how many loving pets are being put down in the shelters daily. We support the No Kill movement!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form. We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public: •We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are. •We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them. •We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way. •We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

We are a group of volunteers to aim to save as many death row animals as possible. We work solely through a network of fosters and trial adopters and do not have a facility. We feel that shelter animals deserve a second chance and that euthanasia is not the answer.

Rockwall Animal Adoption Center

Rockwall
Texas

info@RockwallAdoptions.com(972) 771-7750
Legacy Humane Society was established in 2008 as a dog rescue organization run by volunteers and fosters. We take in dogs from EU lists and Owner Surrenders. We have them fully vetted and then we find them homes. We do home check and vet checks on all adopters. The city of Rockwall contracted with LHS in 2012 to take over managing their animals/adoptions. They will maintain animal control and we run their vetting and adoptions. We will screen apps completed at the shelter but we will not be able to due home checks based on staffing constraints. We have 14 employees and funding is done through the city and donations. In Jan 2017 the name of the facility was changed to Rockwall Adoption Center to more clearly divide both sister organizations purpose and services.
