Philly Rescue Angels Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit, foster based, animal rescue. We are an all women organization, with a love for rescuing animals. We are dedicated to alleviating the pain & suffering of abused & neglected animals. We rescue our animals from kill shelters, surrendering owners, & those in dangerous situations. We strive to change the lives of these animals. We dedicate fully to their medical needs, no matter the cost & find them the most compatible forever homes. We ensure all of our animals that come into our rescue know nothing but love & comfort for the rest of their lives.

Kitten Snatchers is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing Philadelphia's stray cats and kittens. Founded in 2020, we provide foster homes to cats found on the street or surrendered to ACCT, and we care for them until they can find their "fur"ever homes. Our success is only made possible thanks to the hard work of our team of experienced and new fosters who open their homes to cats in need.

Saving lives and finding Furever Homes for Philadelphia's homeless cats- a few paws at a time! We are small but mighty, with big dreams and plans of a brick and mortar rescue to increase our impact on the lives of Philly cats!

Our mission is to eliminate the cat overpopulation problem and animal suffering in the Northwest and Overbrook areas of Philadelphia by educating the public and advocating for Trap, Neuter, Return, Management (TNRM) of feral cats and by providing a safe haven and any necessary veterinary care for animals that come under our care. Animal Rescue Network is a member of the New Beginnings Nonprofit Incubator at Resources for Human Development, Inc. (RHD). RHD is a large, diversified nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia, that oversees roughly 150 programs. The New Beginnings incubator provides small and startup nonprofit programs with a range of services and support designed to help them grow to achieve their missions. Animal Rescue Network is responsible for all its own fundraising.

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is Philadelphia's largest no-kill shelter and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. In March 2010, PAWS opened a low-cost, high-volume spay/neuter and wellness clinic serving pet owners and rescues in an effort to keep pets healthy and reduce the homeless pet population. Located in the Grays Ferry section of the city, the Clinic serves pet owners who have difficulty affording or do not have access to basic veterinary care (sterilization, vaccinations, treatments for upper respiratory infections/parasites/fleas, etc.) and rescue organizations that need affordable spay/neuter surgery and basic veterinary care to carry out their lifesaving work. Support for PAWS funds lifesaving initiatives including adoption and foster care programs, spay/neuter surgeries, low-cost vaccinations, and other efforts, all of which help reduce and will ultimately eliminate the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia's animals. Donations to PAWS are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Project MEOW is an all-volunteer, animal welfare group that humanely reduces the stray cat population in West Philadelphia through rescue/adoption, assisting the residents who feed and care for stray cats, and Trap, Neuter and Release or TNR (where appropriate) To decrease feline pet over-population in West Philadelphia.

City Kitties is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue dedicated to saving and improving the lives of stray cats in the West Philadelphia area. Lori Horwedel and Louisa Alexander founded City Kitties in 2004 after fostering and adopting out many cats and kittens together. Lori is a veterinary technician with nearly ten years of experience, and Louisa is a social worker with a love for animals.

Kathy Jordan, GSR, President Our mission is No More Homeless Pets and Unwanted Kittens. We practice TNRM for feral colonies and work to get all friendly cats we find off the street.
