Volunteers For Animals of Batavia, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for the animals in Genesee County including providing resources to assist animal care at the Genesee County Animal Shelter. Volunteers For Animals mission is to provide care, comfort and protection to companion animals in need in Genesee County, NY by engaging the hands, hearts and minds of our community. VFA seeks to promote compassion and kindness as well as a clear opportunity for adoption.

MENDING SPIRITS is a non profit 501(c)(3) foster based animal rescue located in Mankato MN, that serves everyone. We are a team comprised of committed volunteers, foster homes, licensed veterinarians, trainers and educators. We are able to successfully rescue animals from animal impound, high kill facilities, owner surrenders, strays and puppy mills then place them into well-paired, permanent homes. We serve as a rescue for the community while we educate and advocate responsible pet ownership, over population control, spaying/neutering, behavioral management, training, proper preventative and maintenance care.

Gulf Coast & Southern Texas Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) group of volunteers who are passionate about finding responsible homes for homeless animals.

Our goal is to rescue Bichons, Bichon mixes and other small dogs who can no longer live with their original guardian or guardians. Bichon FurKids is strongly committed to making a difference in the lives of the FurKids we rescue and re-home. Our volunteers reflect this commitment through their willingness to foster, transport, groom and assist in the many activities that are involved in rescuing these precious FurKids. We had our 2000th FurKid adoption in May, 2013 we recognize the contributions of the volunteers that have enabled us to reach this milestone. And we are not stopping there! Another part of our mission is to educate the community regarding puppy mills and pet stores, the importance of spaying and neutering our pets, the medical treatment and homeopathic approaches that enable our FurKids to lead happier and healthier lives and what all of us can do to be responsible pet guardians.

Standard Poodles In Need, Rescue & Rehome (SPIN) is a non-profit, foster-based organization primarily concerned with the welfare of homeless or unwanted standard poodles but also with the welfare of toy poodles, mini-poodles and poodle mixes. All dogs entering our program are spayed or neutered, microchipped, brought up-to-date on shots and have had their medical needs attended to. Once we deem a dog to be ready for adoption, SPIN then actively seeks out well-matched permanent homes. Our foster program enables us to observe the disposition and needs of each individual dog and work on any required behavioural or training issues. Our adoption screening process is quite rigorous and is designed to aid prospective adopters in the selection of a pet that fits the personality, desires and lifestyle of the family. SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.

A Promise of Love [APOL] rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Wisconsin. We are a group of friends dedicated to saving the lives of animals and who are experienced with animal rescue. We exist by a network of caring volunteers, foster homes, and cooperating veterinarians. We are all volunteers who strive to save as many breeder releases, owner surrenders, and animals from high-kill shelters as possible. Our goal is to rescue, provide medical care, socialize, and provide loving foster homes until we match each animal with its carefully screened forever home. Because every animal deserves a promise of tomorrow, and a gift of life.

The members of this organization have been involved in animal rescue for about 15 years. Originally, volunteering for local animal shelters which grew into fostering 1 dog at a time. We have slowly grown to be what we are now. Still a very small organization, bringing into our home and caring for rescue dogs either from animal shelters or from families that no longer can care for them. We keep them until their new home is found.

Diamond in the Ruff Pet Rescue sees a need to expand foster and adoption services in the Fargo, ND, area as well as expanding on education such as breed specifics, spay/neutering importance, and general handling of pets/animals. The organization was created to provide temporary free food to qualifying low-income households to keep animals out of shelters. . Releashed Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training and rehoming them into permanent loving homes. Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Sadie’s Safe Harbor Canine Rescue is a not for profit organization passionately dedicated to the rescue of animals abandoned in high kill shelters and direct surrender from owners who can no longer care for them. Due to our wonderful network of volunteers, foster homes, boarding facilities, trainers and veterinarian support, we are able to provide a second chance for so many worthy furry friends. We provide a quality of life and safe temporary foster homes while we search for their happy “furrever” after family through a screened adoption process. SGDR is a foster based rescue located in Thompsons Station, TN whose main focus is seniors, special needs, and extreme medical cases. Our mission is to help relieve area shelters of their euthanasia numbers as well as taking in as many seniors and medical needs who would not be considered adoptable in the shelter environment. We do what we do because....well, it's what we should do.

Covenant Pet Trust Inc. is a registered nonprofit (501c3 filed) organization formed to educate and assist pet parents to plan for the future of their pets without them. We work with all pet parents including terminally ill or permanently disabled pet owners. Our mission is to keep pets and owners together for as long as medically feasible and to honor the owners' wishes for their pets' ultimate future. Services include in-home care assistance for pets to help keep them in their home, foster care, relocation, re-homing through our adoption program or other disposition as required. Covenant Pet Trust Directors and Volunteers are here to provide comfort and peace of mind for pet owners and to prevent neglect, abuse and euthanasia of pets.
