The Humane Society of Schuyler County is a limited admission, no-kill shelter. Incorporated in 1987, we are the only full-service animal welfare organization serving the needs of our community. The Humane Society provides shelter for stray and surrendered animals, offers animals for adoption, provides a low-cost spay/neuter program, delivers educational resources and manages programs to help area residents care for their pets. The mission of the Humane Society of Schuyler County has five key points: *Eliminate pet overpopulation *Prevent animal cruelty *Provide quality care for homeless animals *Promote responsible pet ownership *Help the community to develop humane principles toward all animals

Amanda's Farm Animal Rescue (AFAR) was born from a lifelong passion for animals! We strive to make a difference for helpless creatures who have been discarded & neglected by others. We focus primarily on equines & felines, but will step in if needed for any outdoor animal! We believe these animals, whether large or small still have value. With our love and care, we work to offer them a second chance at a happy and productive life. Our primary focus to is to restore the animals to health and let them know they are loved. They are given a chance to decompress, vetted, and any presenting issues are addressed. It's our goal to help find the best forever homes for them where they will be loved and continue to thrive!

Molly’s Kittens is a nonprofit animal rescue organization dedicated to improving the lives of community cats and kittens. Through our core values—rescue, sterilization, fostering, and adoption—we rescue vulnerable cats and kittens, mitigate community cat overpopulation, and enrich the lives of adoptable kittens and the people who love them.

At Ace Kitty Rescue Force, we participate in Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) and pull as many cats or kittens as we can with a good demeanor to rehome. We reach out to members of the community in need of help with stray and/or feral cat overpopulation due to abandonment and neglect.

We are a group of boxer lovers that work together to improve the life of boxers. While the boxer is rated in the top ten of purebreed dogs by AKC, they are also 4th in purebreed dogs found in shelters. Our mission is to give those boxers a second chance to the life every boxer deserves. Through our foster program the boxer will get any medical and training needs met and our adoption team will find the family that can give the boxer a forever home. We also provide post adoption follow up. Boxer Lovers is committed to providing breed specific knowledge as well as information on being a responsible pet owner.

Where the Love Is animal rescue is a volunteer-based organization based in Connecticut. We are dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused pets, providing them with medical attention including up-to-date vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip, before adopting out to forever homes.

Paw Project was founded by 7 strong women who have over 110 years of rescue experience between us. Our mission is to make animal care accessible to all members of our community by offering diverse supportive programs for healthcare and placement of animals in need. We love working in rescue and helping animals, and have wanted to start our own place focusing on adoptions, TNR and working cats, while helping people who do not have the funds for a full service vet be able to get vaccines and minor sick treatments for their pets.

Feline Fine Cat Rescue is dedicated to reducing cat homelessness, one feline at a time. Our primary focus involves rescuing cats from high-kill shelters & unsavory living conditions, and then adopting them into loving, forever homes. We also work hard to keep cats in their current homes by offering advice, education & support for all cat owners. Additionally, we assist with TNR programs to lessen the burden on local animal controls.

BarkVille Dog Rescue, formerly known as BarkTown Dog Rescue & Sanctuary, is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization committed to saving dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. We are a non-breed specific rescue, and we do not exclude dogs due to extensive medical needs. Our goal is to save dogs in the most need of rescue assistance, including older dogs, medically challenged dogs, and PitBull Terrier type dogs. We work with our friends and donors to raise the funds necessary to provide life-saving treatments for the dogs we rescue and to identify the best foster situations for the dogs in our care. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment needed prior to adoption. Our dogs are then placed in a nurturing foster home while they await placement into their permanent home. Our group remains interested in and committed to the welfare of our dogs beyond the adoption process.   Our goal is to help dogs in distress without regard to age, breed, size, or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs in the greatest need take priority. Our cost to provide basic veterinary care to a dog is about $300 and covers all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. If the dog tests positive for Heartworm disease (as many of our GA stray dogs do), the additional cost to treat heartworms is approximately $500-$600. For dogs with injuries requiring specialized treatment and/or surgery, costs can easily increase into the thousands.   When BarkVille becomes aware of a dog in need, we immediately get to work posting the dog on our social media platforms and networking with our internet friends & partners to make people aware of the dog’s situation. We raise funds and solicit for fosters, and once we have both, we transport the dog to one our partner vets as quickly as possible. We strive to work with area shelters and other rescue groups to develop a network of supporters and volunteers to create a better world for homeless dogs.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

We are vegan caretakers of a goat and cat rescue that provide for animals in need that come from a variety of situations and adopt them out to their forever homes when they are ready and provide sanctuary to the ones not adoptable.

We are small rural shelter that also operates Animal control for henderson county. We are very passionate about our animals and try very hard to adopt or transfer all animals out of our facility.

Rusty’s Rescue Ranch is a rescue in Raleigh, NC. Rusty’s Rescue Ranch has received their 501 c(3) status EIN # 84-3958218. With our 501 c(3) we are able to accept tax-exempt donations as well as give donation receipts. We are always in need of more volunteers, donations, and pet supplies. If you are interested in helping in any way please reach out. Even just telling your friends and family about our organization helps us reach more people who could be potential volunteers, fosters, and adopters.

It is our mission to provide for the adoption and placement of rescued cats and kittens into permanent loving homes. We are further dedicated to the care and well-being of these homeless cats and to educating the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, the prevention of animal cruelty, responsible pet ownership, and actively encouraging Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) in our community.

Queen City Cats is a group of compassionate volunteers committed to improving the lives of lost, abandoned, unwanted and stray cats in the greater Burlington, Vermont area and working with the community to achieve that objective. We advocate for the responsible care of cats by promoting spay/neuter programs, fostering, and adoption and by providing humane education and essential resources to their human companions.

Our organization started in Nov 2016 to help kittens and adults at local shelters. We have since moved to taking more from the community such as founding kittens needing bottle feeding. We are foster based and can only take on new cats based on available fosters. We work to educate the community about services and resources with regards to cat care, free or low cost spay/neuter, how to TNR, and we also make community Cat shelters. So many people would help found animals if given the information and guidance.
