Furrever Cat & Kitten Rescue is non-profit 501(c)3 organization, located in the Campbell/San Jose area. Our mission is to save at-risk shelter kittens, foster and place them into loving homes. We do what we do to save the at-risk shelter kittens from euthanasia. We also spay mother cats and place in homes if adoptable. Those mom cats not adoptable, we spay and release them back to where we trap them. We hope what we do will contribute to reducing homeless community cat population.

Wild About Cats of Cumberland County

Small but extremely dedicated. Started 10 years ago. Sadly, MANY homeless cats in this mostly rural area where folks prefer hunting dogs and the local, under-funded shelter is always full. We can't stand to see the cats left unsheltered, unfed, and generally discarded. We promote S/N all the time.

We rescue horses from potential slaughter and terrible situations. Work with SPCA on cruelty cases. We heal and rehabilitate them and work with them in order to find them a forever home. Some horses stay at the farm and help with our equine assisted therapy and other programs.

The Humane Society of McCormick County, Inc.

The Humane Society of McCormick County is a no-kill animal rescue. We pick up homeless cats and dogs in McCormick County and help them find loving homes. We offer low-cost spay and neuter to any cat or dog in the County and we a have a progressive trap - neuter or spay -and return (TNR) program and we monitor and feed several community cat colonies every day. We are 100% funded by private donations, grants and money raised through fundraising activities. All money raised goes to helping animals because we are all volunteers. The county does not have a city or county-run shelter. We are all our county has for help with homeless cats and dogs. We care for the dogs and cats that would otherwise have no other place to go.

2nd Chance Animal Rescue is about giving animals a second chance at finding their forever homes. We promote spaying and neutering of all animals, that is why each one of our animals are up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before they are available for adoption. We are a not-for-profit animal rescue and we are supported by donations from the community. Our team continues to feverishly fight animal cruelty, homelessness, and sickness in Wayne County.

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors. Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.

In March 2013, the ASPCA launched the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, a pilot program located at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, New Jersey. It was the first and only facility dedicated to providing behavioral rehabilitation for severely fearful, unadoptable dogs, such as those confiscated from puppy mills and hoarding situations. Due to the success of the pilot program, which had 237 graduates over four years, the ASPCA has expanded its program and built a permanent facility in Weaverville, North Carolina. The state-of-the-art facility can house up to 65 dogs at a time. It includes a dormitory and several teaching spaces where shelter professionals can learn our behavior modification techniques, to further help behaviorally challenged dogs across the country become suitable for adoption. Homeless dogs of all ages and backgrounds are eligible for the program, as long as they are physically healthy and meet our behavioral inclusion criteria. Only dogs whose fear is so severe that it compromises their quality of life and makes adoption challenging or impossible are accepted. The Weaverville facility has individual kennels, along with "real-life rooms," designed to help dogs get used to life in home environments, outdoor play areas, and a large indoor training area where our behaviorists and trainers work with dogs in the program. On average, rehabilitation requires 13 weeks of treatment. However, that timing depends heavily on the severity of each dog's behavior problems and how responsive he or she is to treatment. Once the dogs have completed the program, the transformed graduates are placed within our network of partner shelters and rescue groups to be made available for adoption or via direct adoption.

Our mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless." We save the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, paralyzed dogs, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, dogs with neurological deficits & disease, dogs with injuries and orthopedic issues … the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Saving Livy Cat Rescue

1109 DOYLE ROAD
FL
32725
Saving Livy Cat Rescue all began with the love of all animals and saving Livy from the hood of our car at 2 1/2 weeks old in the parking lot of a supermarket. She saved us more than we saved her + because of saving Livy, we won't stop till we do our best daily to try and save all the cats. We are driven by the desire to make the world a better place for all cats and kittens. We do it all: trapping feral stray cats on the street for TNR in our own colonies or those of people who are unable to do so themselves, fostering orphaned kittens in need to vet them for their furever homes and more. Our hearts are in this. We live to rescue. One cat at a time. Our ultimate Saving Livy Cat Rescue expansion goal is to purchase property that allows us to open a facility with shelter capability. Our prospective facility would need a plethora of veterinary care/medical equipment for intake of felines in need (i.e., surrendered or stray cats, orphaned kittens, mama with neonatal kittens, recouperating feral cats from sterilization surgery, etc.) in the Deltona area within the next year. Having an additional rescue space would reduce the feline population, increase our ability to help the people who contact us and decrease the amount of times we have to say no.

We remove as many companion animals from the reservation as possible, provide vet care (often surgeries to repair injuries from car vs. dog incidents), vaccinations, and spay/neuter prior to adopting them out to qualified homes. We also host low or no cost spay/neuter/vaccination/worming clinics on the reservations. We provide bulk vaccinations to various people around the reservation to help reduce the spread of disease (parvovirus and distemper are very common), and we network with a variety of groups to provide the best possible outcome for the animals we take responsibility for.
