Redemption Ranch

California
93305
info@redemptionranchca.org(661) 282-7448
Our mission is two-fold: (1) rescue two classes of animals in need of their own redemption, Pit Bull type dogs and the American Mustang, and (2) transform those animals into therapy or service animals for people who have experienced trauma, including first responders and veterans with PTSD/TBI and their families, individuals who have experienced some kind of abuse or traumatizing event, and those recovering from addiction, depression, or loss. Animals rescued into our program may serve simply as emotional support/companions to highly trained PTSD service animals, with the ultimate goal of redeeming both human and animal.

Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue

Olathe
Kansas
66061
info@pawsitivetailskc.org
Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies in the Kansas City area and Topeka. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility – all the dogs in our program live in loving foster homes. We take dogs into our homes and care for them as if they were our own until they go to their forever homes. The time we spend with them helps us to learn more about each of them which allows us to be able to provide applicants with an accurate assessment and the dog’s individual strengths and needs. We are for the dogs who need help now, educate the public to protect dogs of the future, allow dogs to give back as they do best – with their whole hearts, and we accomplish each stage with a sense of humor. Pawsitive Tails is a federal501(c)(3) non profit organization serving the Kansas City and Topeka areas. Your donations are tax deductible! We are run entirely by volunteers and have no paid positions. All of our dogs live as family members in loving foster homes. This means that every single dollar that we bring in goes directly to the dogs in our care. We are run entirely on donations and adoption fees. We appreciate every dollar, thank you for helping us to help them!

LADA Paws Rescue

3 NW 90 Rd
Kansas
67544
Ladapawsrescue@gmail.com
Our organization started about four years ago. We are employed with Hoisington Veterinary Hospital, in Hoisington Kansas. The owner, Linday Reif owns the clinic and has a contract to take in the stray cats and dogs in Hoisington Kansas. After the three day stray hold, Hoisington wants the animals euthanized. The owner of the hospital decided to take the stray dogs and cats and place them into new homes. This just really evolved and four of us decided to be founders of a rescue, LADA Paws. We have four founders, our Vet Dr Lindsay, Amber our Kennel manager, Desirae our office manager and Arica our groomer. We were officially a rescue July 2021. We received our 501c3 status later in the year. For the year 2021 we had just over 200 adoptions, Jan-Dec. This year 2022,we are at 198 adoptions from Jan-Sep. We are "tagging" animals from MO, OK, KS and TX (sometimes). We were gifted a transport van and after some minor repairs we will be able to use this instead of our personal vehicles. We have short term plans and long term plans. We are still learning and trying to find the program that works best for us.

Feline Lifeline

South Carolina
29642
info@felinelifelinesc.org
Feline Lifeline's mission is "to give homeless cats a chance," not after they are taken to a public animal shelter, but while they are still living on the streets, eating out of trash cans and surviving long enough only to produce a litter or two of kittens doomed to the same fate as their parents. Feline Lifeline helps cats living outdoors in "colonies." Most colony cats are too fearful of humans to become pets, so they are trapped and taken to a veterinarian for vaccinations, spay or neuter and treatment for fleas and worms. Other health problems are also given veterinary care. The cats that cannot be tamed are then returned to the places where they had been living, but their living areas are improved with shelters (where possible) and the cats are fed daily. Tame cats are adopted into loving homes.
