Kitten Rescue 101

California
94555
thekittenrescue101@gmail.com
About me: I'm Yurika- director and founder of Kitten Rescue 101. I have been in cat rescue for about 10 years originally fostering for a local human society. The school that I worked at had over 200 feral cats with litters of kittens being born all the time so I began TNR-ing the adults and fostering litters of kittens. However during Covid, all access to resources were shut down. I couldn't get spay/neuter appts, shelters would not take in animals, etc. Being known as the "cat person", many people reached out to me asking for help with kittens, but I had no resources. I had 16 kittens that I needed to find homes for with zero access to care. It was at this time, I decided that I needed to start my own organization, get 501-c3 status, and tax exempt status and I would have better access to vets, etc. Since our inception in 2021, we have successfully adopted out over 300 cats and kittens, have access to a rescue vet, meds, and partnerships with other organizations and companies. I even quit my professional job to do cat rescue and now work at a cat clinic! Cat rescue has changed my life completely and the impact that we have been able to make is exponential compared to rescuing cats as a solo individual. About our Org: It is our mission to rescue cats and kittens and provide them with supportive medical care, socialization, food, and shelter to reduce unnecessary suffering, and to find them a forever home. We believe that all animals deserve a chance at life. We are an all volunteer non-profit with just me and one primary other person who does all the intake, meds, posting, marketing, adoption events, etc. We have fosters, and a few other volunteers who help with caring for the kittens that are at our adoption center at Petsmart.

Duette Animal Rescue Team, Inc.

Florida
34219
info@duetteanimalrescue.org
We provide permanent or temporary homes for cats. If we are able to rehabilitate and train the cats, we try to place them into permanent and loving homes. We understand the need for partnership with local shelters and other animal rescue organizations in order to address the plight for homeless, stray and feral cats. We provide homes for feral cats and make every attempt to rehabilitate cats and place them in a loving home. Cats that are not able to be rehabilitated will have a permanent home at DART with limited space availability. Priority is given to cats that are in danger out in the field and animals on the shelter euthanasia list due to behavioral issues or special needs.

St. Bonnie's Sanctuary/Lange Foundation

27567 OAK SPRING CANYON RD
California
91387
st.bonnies@gmail.com(661) 251-5590
In 2007, through a generous bequest, the Lange Foundation purchased a 4.5 acre property in Canyon Country in the Santa Clarita Valley. This allowed us a place of our own in which to expand our rescue work to include the forgotten desert shelters. The animals we rescue come to us in all shapes, colors, sizes, and ages. We value spay and neuter efforts in order to reduce the numbers of homeless animals in California and dedicate ourselves to saving impounded companion animals in order to prepare them for their journey to a new, safe, and loving world. We stand behind those we place.

Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue

Po Box 4631
California
94509
brooke@contracostarabbitrescue.org
We are a rabbit rescue but occasionally help guinea pigs. Mostly, we assist our local shelters with over population, sick or behavior rabbits. We do go out and catch domestic rabbits that have been dumped in public places, like east bay regional parks. Everyone in our rescue does this because of our love for rabbits! and desire to educate and show other what wonderful pets they are.
