Best Friends East Coast Lifesaving Program works collaboratively with city shelters, local animal welfare organizations and passionate individuals to save the lives of pets in shelters across the East Coast.

We care about the cats. We were all involved in a TNVR group and sometimes the cat's life is in danger. This gets the cats out of a bad or dangerous area, yet lets them live out their lives in a safe area where they are appreciated, sheltered, fed and cared for. But for the sweet cats, we need a way to market them.

We are a 501c3, all volunteer, home foster-based dog and cat rescue with no facility. Our mission is to achieve a no-kill community by creating and implementing strategies that both Increase Outtake from the Shelter and Decrease Intake to the Shelter. To that end we offer both free and low cost spay/neuter, all pit bulls (and pit mixes) are altered free, a Pet Pantry that distributes over 2000lbs of free pet food to people through social services or that receive any kind of federal, state or county assistance, an Unchained Canines of Culpeper to build pens, provide shelter and dog food to previously chained dogs, and created a TNR Alliance which fosters a robust TNR program, and along with foster to adopt, barn cats placement and transfer to Mid-Atlantic no kill rescue groups we are a small but fierce group determined to reach our goal.

We are a registered non-profit charity founded in 2012. We consist of a Board of Directors and are totally run by volunteers. We primarily take in Northern dogs but also rehome animals from local shelters as well as owner surrenders.m (when applicable.) We spay/neuter all our animals as well as include age appropriate vaccines and a microchip. We also treat any known medical conditions before adoption.

We are a small but mighty, foster home based, nonprofit animal rescue made up of amazing volunteers, striving to help as many animals in need as we can.

We are a small but experienced rescue that helps dogs from overpopulated areas of Texas, runs our own transport, and adopts out dogs in the Pacific Northwest. We do so because we love dogs, and we love matching families with dogs that are perfect for them. We have a strong emphasis in humane, science based training, decompression and slow integration. We offer support for the life of the dogs.

We specifically focused on helping rescued animals from China that are rescued from slaughterhouses, abandonments, strays off the streets. There are no laws to protect them in China and we want to do our best to help them find their forever homes here in the US and live their second chance in life.

We are a non-profit, no kill animal shelter that has been serving our community and other surrounding communities since 1964. We work with humane officers in the County to take in and vet stray animals and then place for adoption. We also accept owner surrenders. I am the treasurer of the Board of Directors. I have been at this position for 2 years now.

Peace, Love, and Poms Rescue is dedicated to saving Pomeranians and small breed dogs from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Our rescue is a safe haven for small dogs in need. We envision a world where every dog has a safe and loving home. Our organization promotes the importance of proper care, consistent vaccinations, and spaying and neutering of domesticated animals. Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found
