Foster Care

We provide permanent or temporary homes for cats. If we are able to rehabilitate and train the cats, we try to place them into permanent and loving homes. We understand the need for partnership with local shelters and other animal rescue organizations in order to address the plight for homeless, stray and feral cats. We provide homes for feral cats and make every attempt to rehabilitate cats and place them in a loving home. Cats that are not able to be rehabilitated will have a permanent home at DART with limited space availability. Priority is given to cats that are in danger out in the field and animals on the shelter euthanasia list due to behavioral issues or special needs.

We are an open intake shelter in a rural county in Cleveland, TN. Our goal is to find homes for the homeless, neglected, or abused animals in our county and never euthanize for time or space. When we are able to we offer free core vaccines to our residents in an effort to keep the animals healthy, and also offer free dog and cat food when we have enough to help the community.

We are committed to preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to animals. Through our activities, we aim to reduce animal suffering and increase animal wellbeing and aiming to rehome them to responsible and caring homes where they can thrive and live happy lives.

Kingdom Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)3 charitable organization run by volunteers. We utilize Biblical Principles of charity, to "Help His Helpless" through quality care, compassion, and selflessness to bring God's hand of mercy to each family and animal we connect with.

Our rescue focuses on saving senior dogs and finding Furever homes for all the forgotten animals in the world. We pull the last animals on the euthanasia lists - no matter how old or sick they are, we will always be there for them. We are trying to change the world of rescue with our unique facility and our emphasis on enjoying every moment and treating each day as if it's our last.

We are an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit Keeshond rescue, serving the Mid Atlantic region, formed to promote the welfare of the Keeshond dog breed and is organized exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. More specifically, such purposes include the rescuing, fostering and placement of abandoned, abused and unwanted Keeshonden into permanent loving homes, while educating the general public about this specific breed.

Our Mission is to love animals. We will take on healthy and sick* animals and try to nurse them back to health. We will do our best to research and keep up with the vet approved method of taking the best care of animals through the help of our vet partners. We will, also, work to help turn any dog, that has the right temperament, into a therapy dog to help children and adults with mental illness. We will work around the clock to take animals out of dangerous situations and put them into loving homes.

To rescue and rehome cats who are unowned or who have been abandoned by partnering with other rescues as much as possible. To help control the unowned cat populations through public education and community assistance. I've been in cat rescue for just over 7 years, I started as just a foster but quickly learned how much work there was to be done. I learned how to TNR in my home-town on Oahu where the need is immeasurable. I have personally paid for and flown over 24 cats and kittens from Hawaii to Alaska for adoption. I was previously with a large cat rescue in Anchorage where I used your database and loved it. I have a regular day job that pays for my rescue activities, and I operate 100% not for profit. In 2021 I trapped and rescued 109 cats and kittens, 81% went to partners, 17% were community assists.

We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit, no kill animal rescue organization that specializes in saving black cats and kittens from euthanasia by pulling them out of the shelters, fostering them and finding adoptive families to give them a forever home. We also provide holistic services as a supplement to traditional veterinary care to the cats that we rescue and to cats in the care of other rescue organizations in our area

We rescue dogs who are deemed unadoptable due to their behavior. We have partnered with two training facilities to help us. We decided to work with these dogs because these are the dogs that are put down first. Most dogs display fear at shelters and that gets them on the euthanasia list. With trainers who are committed to assist us with training these dogs become adoptable and some can become ESA animals with their training as well. It is easy to adopt out puppies or dogs who are easy but we thought what about the rest who are not helped because of the cost of training and difficulty level.
