Sandy Paws Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Foster based rescue. We love and cherish the black dogs, momma dogs, senior citizens, and the strong willed dogs. Dogs in need will always have a place to belong at Sandy Paws. All paws matter equally. Our goal is to decrease the number of dogs that are discarded at high kill shelters. Once one of our dogs is out of the shelter, we want ensure that they don't ever have to go back. We are fully committed to each and every dogs health and happiness. Which includes finding a forever family where our pup can be themselves and receive unconditional love.

Hello, I first became interested in saving dogs when I learned about euthanasia practices at the shelters. That was 2012. I started saving dogs then from shelters, bringing them home, getting them medical treatment, and later doing pet adoptions at Petco in Denton for about a year, with another rescue. Now I have a small independent rescue at my home. My husband and I do all the work and fund it all. We are set up for inside and outside areas for the dogs. We started out with the bully breeds but we are not breed specific and currently also have some littles for adoption. I do it because I can't stand to see suffering dogs, and I help whenever I can. So many are thrown away. I do what I can to make their lives better.

Mary's Meow Rescue is the heart-mission of just two ol’ ladies whose soft spot is for defenseless, newborn kittens that still need bottle-feeding. We have been rescuing kittens for a combined 31 years, but we cannot do this without the support of our local community. We have a way for everyone to help in whatever way works for you. Casting All Talent Rescue Inc. (C.A.T. Rescue) a small nonprofit based out of Covington, GA. Our mission is to help animals during their tiniest most fragile state, that are too young to be accepted into shelters. Once they are old enough we get them vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neuter, and begin the search for loving forever homes.

Working Dogs For Vets Mission is to provide service dogs and training to disabled heroes in need, empowering them as they return to civilian life with new-found independence; reducing suicide and overcrowding in animal shelters.

About Planned Pethood, Inc: Planned Pethood, Inc. is a foster-based animal rescue program serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Established in 1979, our non-profit organization’s mission is to reduce the overpopulation and suffering of dogs and cats through education and low-cost spay-neuter programs, and to rescue, care for, and place adoptable dogs and cats into good, permanent homes. Our no-kill methods are education, low-cost spay/neuter programs and a wide-spread adoption program that rescues unwanted animals, sees to their veterinary needs and places them into permanent, loving homes. The more money we have, the more lives we can save right here in our community. I am the executive director and do so for my love of animals and respect for the practices of PPI.

The Alternative Humane Society is a foster-only, 501(c)3 rescue organization. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Whatcom County, Washington, helping animals and educating the public since 1977 We have no shelter, office, or paid staff and rely on private donations to help run our organization. Our programs include Canine and Feline Foster & Adoption, Spay & Neuter Assistance, and Community Cats Information and Referral. I do PR work for Cabin Critters as a volunteer. We started a rescue about 3.5 years ago as there's been a dire need for rescue (we have the county shelter and one other shelter before we started up). Scioto county is #5 od the most impoverished counties in ohio. Our big goal was a shelter and we did that within our first year. Currently we have rescued over 700 dogs since starting.
