Cat Tales Rescue

PO Box 2
Vacaville
California
95696
catinfo@catalesrescue.org
Cat Tales Rescue is an all volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to reducing the homeless, unwanted, and feral cat population of Solano County through promoting low-cost spay/neuter options and educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter. We advocate the benefits of TNR to control over population and maintain good health of feral cat colonies and educate the public about TNR and proper feral colony management. We take in abandoned cats from our communities, feral colonies and cats at risk from euthanasia, to the extent of our resources and of foster home availability. We assist the public, feral colony care takers, and shelter rescuers place cats in loving, forever homes.

The Humane Society of Coleman County, serving Coleman and Runnels Counties, was incorporated in Texas in December 2003. We have a 501c3 determination. Our primary mission is providing discounted spay/neuter vouchers to low-income families in our economically depressed, rural counties. Secondarily, we do what we can to rescue adoptable pets from the streets and the city kill shelters. We are also involved in education programs in the schools, primarily through use of KIND News.

Animal Compassion Team of California

California

We are a group of friends that have been working and volunteering within an animal control for sometime. We have great knowledge and dedication on our side. We are ready to start out on our own and work hard to practice the principles of teaching good pet ownership while leading my example. We will also be working hard to educate our community, provide spay/neuter assistance, training and offer help with alternate placement. Our goal is to keep animals in their homes, however, if they can not be kept in their homes; to help find them placement so that they do not enter high kill shelters allowing more space for the animals in those shelters.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue, Inc.

Who We Are: We are experienced, animal-loving residents of Cumberland and surrounding counties, organized as a not-for-profit membership corporation. Our Mission: To reduce the rate of animal euthanasia through the promotion of animal adoptions, the rescue of healthy animals, the provision of temporary foster homes and the promotion of Spay and Neuter programs. What we do: We rescue companion animals from situations where their lives are threatened. We place these animals in a “foster care” environment in one of our member’s homes. We treat the animals as necessary (including Spay or Neuter), socialize them and otherwise prepare them for adoption into a “forever” home. We then adopt them into a loving environment. We have no kennels or other facilities so all our funding goes directly to the care of our animals. Why we do it: To reduce the very high euthansia rates in the counties that we target.
