We have operated a dog boarding and training facliity for 15 yrs. My late husband was a veterinarian and our lifelong goal was to have a full-service facility. A one-stop shop to find a great companion and then take great care of it throughout its life with you. My husband passed away four years ago, but one year ago, I started our official rescue program. We had been rescuing dogs for 15 yrs, but fully supported it ourselves. We set the rescue up as a non-profit corporation a year ago so that we can get support in saving more dogs as part of our lifelong dream to unite loving owners with amazing dogs in need of homes.

Doggie Harmony is a rescue group focused on finding the right homes for dogs in foster care or belonging to owners who wish to re-home them. We also support spay/neuter, wellness, and training to help keep or place dogs in homes.

We serve the animals of Augusta Animal Services. We provide off site adoptions for the shelter animals.

I volunteer cleaning the cat shelter, send Pet of the Week to area newspapers and add animals to the Pet Adoption Portal. I do it to help these homeless animals have a chance at a better life and hopefully be adopted.

Faithful Hearts is a new organization in Dodge county Georgia - the first animal shelter/rescue in the area. We are currently raising funds to build a full time shelter and right now are sheltering through local vets and dedicated fosters.

Began in 1982. Middle GA has a great many homeless, abandoned, and abused pets.

Atlanta Dog Whisperer and dog behavior expert, Angie Woods has been giving dogs a leg up with their behavior problems for more than 20 years. She has been labeled the "Dr. Phil" of the dog world. Dog owners want to know techniques that really work. Angie delivers real solutions with her tell it like it is approach. Angie uses a pack approach to rehabilitating dogs. She has a pack of 20+ dogs at her facility. Currently she is wanting to adopt out members of her pack.

We started Shelter Angels because of the serious Pit Bull problem we have in Georgia shelters. Some shelters won't adopt Pit Bulls out to the public and end up killing thousands of them every year. We rescue friendly Pit Bulls that don't have a chance at adoption because of their breed. We give them vet care and love, and help them find their forever home.

Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue is a 501 c 3 no-kill, charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected pitbulls, particularly those who are considered hard to place or with special needs. All dogs under our care are provided with food, shelter, veterinary care, as well as basic house-training and obedience until placement is found. We will try to match the dog and appropriate, loving, and permanent home based on the dog's temperament & personality evaluation as well as the prospective home's vet & home check. Veterinary care provided will ensure that the dog is in general good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
