Dallas Cat Rescue, dba Cat Matchers is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We will accomplish this: * through programs to rescue, spay/neuter and adopt out animals in need. * by supporting spay/neuter programs to try and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year or left homeless. The goal is to turn disposable animals into lifelong companions.

CHA has been around since 1969 in Commerce and has been larger and smaller through the decades. Traditionally, CHA was primarily af fostering organization and a force to get some kind of animal control in the City of Commerce. We have been involved in abuse cases and currently have a shelter near Wolfe City. We have a few annual events to provide low cost vaccinations, infromation about pets and animals and to recognize those involved with animals. We also work with spay/neuter grant assistance locally, sometimes are able to help with animal care in hardship cases, and can do microchipping, I an the vp of CHA and do most of the web work, pick up where anything needs to be done at the shelter or in the organization. I guess I do it for my cats and the ferals who really don't have anyone to speak for them.

The City of Denton Animal Shelter is a temporary home to lost, unwanted and stray animals. Part of the Denton Police Department, the Animal Services Unit has full time officers who help citizens care for their pets in many ways. Animals of all sorts spend time with us, from newborn kittens to potbelly pigs. We receive animals from unincorporated Denton County and many of the surrounding municipalities. Our goal is to ensure humane care while the animals are in our custody, enable adoptions to individuals and facilitate transfers to rescue organizations, and humanely euthanize animals as necessary.

Truck Drivers who volunteer to transport a pet going to a new home inside their cab with them. Individuals who can provide care in their homes for a pet in between drivers. We call them Layover Homes (LOH). Individuals who cannot provide home care but can provide transportation to/from/in between drivers.

We care for those no one else will -- focus is on injured and ill stray animals, orphan puppies, and some behavioral problem children.

Animal Control for League City with strong volunteer support

We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization striving to improve the lives of homeless and feral cats and eliminate their breeding in the San Antonio area through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We educate the public about the plight of stray and feral cats and the need to spay/neuter pets, support feral cat caretakers and gain recognition of the beneficial role they perform, and promote the adoption of long-term, caretaker-based solutions regarding feral cats.
