We are a horse based rescue that also rescues cats and dogs. We rescue from neglect and abuse situations, occasionally owner surrender, kill pen horses that are shipping to Mexico for Slaughter, strY cats and dogs, etc. We rehab the animals based on their specific needs and health situation. McLean County Animal Control is a self-supporting (non tax payer funded) program designed to promote and protect public and animal safety in a variety of ways, including: - Prevention and control of rabies through rabies vaccination registration and bite investigations - Enforcement of county and state animal control and welfare laws - In certain circumstances, the collection of stray animals - Collection of bats within a home - Adoption of eligible animals to responsible homes - Promoting responsible pet ownership through education and community outreach

I am a small organization focusing mainly on senior/geriatric dogs or dogs with special medical or behavioral needs. I have cared for several "forever" fosters in my organization paying for all their needs until the cross the rainbow bridge. I believe every life is valuable even the older dogs and the dying dogs. I also have adoptable dogs available but generally fewer, I mainly have seniors dogs.

We are a not for profit animal shelter that take in cats and dogs as owner surrenders and also brings in other dogs from kill shelters. We currently have 9 board members and 4 part time employees. We run the shelter off of donations and also have volunteers that help with day to day activities.

Rescue Warriors Corp’s Mission is to save abandoned animals from being euthanized because of no other reason other than someone not wanting them. We are run by volunteers and generous supporters who have provided their time and financial support to help us with our mission. With the amount of work that is needed to be done we are are always challenged by the large expenses we incur to transport, provide medical treatment, and provide food and shelter for the pets we are able to rescue. Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary is an all volunteer foster based animal rescue network based in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. A core group of volunteers live in the Chicago Suburbs and surrounding Chicagoland area. As a small non-profit, Fur Angels works tirelessly to giving all animals a second chance at finding a forever home. Without having an actual shelter, we have many volunteers who have opened their homes to exotic animals and some with special needs. This rescue is unique because we foster many animals deemed unadoptable. We rescue dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, reptiles, turtles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, rodents, fish and more!

Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. It continues to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving home in the Chicagoland area.
